First Set of Bands

Hi, just bought my first set of bands ( minis, small, mediums) and have a few questions for people with a little more experience than me:

  1. Does the quoted resistance refer to one band or one set?
  2. For those who use them - do you stick to one set per workout or do you double them up per workout to increase the resistance etc. In other words what kind of variety do people who use them find to be most beneficial?

  2. sometimes i use one set, sometimes i use another, sometimes i use all of them at once…just mess around and have fun.

according to elitefts the resistance measuered is for a set.

and as for use, i use in a downward fashion tied to 120lb dumbbells for speed work, and in a upward fashion looped around a power rack for overload work.

What do you mean by mini, small, and medium? EFS doesn’t sell any thing called a small or medium band, did you get these from somewhere else or are you calling them by something other than their “official” names?

Sorry, didn’t buy them from elitefts, got them from a UK supplier (shipping was obscene!) so in terms of colour I have a set of Super Mini/Red(10-50 lbs),Small/ Blue(30-80lbs), Medium/Green (50-120lbs).

Be careful of using the bands independently if you plan on doing barbell lifts with them. It can be difficult to get even tension when one band has been used more than the other.
