Glad to hear it man. Just try to track really well. I had a couple of Thomas English muffins with some butter and grape jelly with a glass of milk for breakfast and got up to 500 plus calories pretty easily. But that was 5 hours ago and I’m completely satiated right now. I’ll probably eat a bowl of fruity pebbles for lunch and then finish off with rice and a little bit of chicken for dinner. Protein adds up pretty quickly if you’re eating meat at every meal as well.

Tomorrow will be pin #21
I’m feeling like that piece of shit someone smeared all over the toilet seat at the local gym.
I’m either coming down with something or I’ve gone crashed my E2. I took one 12.5mg dose of Aromasin this past Thursday and another last Monday, two days ago. I had some tinitus and thought it could be high BP from high E2 so figured it was safe to lower my E2 considering my lab results were showing signs of high E.
Basically, what I have now is all the symptoms of high E2 paired with aches and pains in my whole body (shoulders especially), lethargy, no desire to eat or work out (or do anything really), sleepy but have a hard time falling asleep and when I do I wake up at 3am and can’t dose off again. Last night I felt as though my bones were cold, if that makes any sense. And I’m usually that guy that is always opening doors and windows because I’m always hot.
I’m thinking it could have something to do with the Tbol i recently introduced, though I doubt it. I have no headaches from it. I’ll check my BP later today and post the results.
On another note, I managed to get my hands on some Anavar and am thinking of switching over to that, replacing the Tbol. Or should I run the Tbol and save the Var for a future cycle? There’s enough of it for a couple cycles.
Lastly, what I’m also on the fence about is should I even go the PCT route when I finish this blast or should I start on self-prescribed TRT of 150-200mg of test weekly? I’m really not looking forward to going back feeling like shit with all the mood swings, self doubt, low sex drive etc…
Ok, so yesterday I wrote that I felt crappy and I thought it was due to low E2. I also mentioned I recently added in Tbol to the mix, specifically about a week ago. I’ve been feeling not quite like myself since Sunday, which was 4 days ago. Been feeling lethargic, like I was coming down with something.
Anyway, after writing the above post yesterday describing how shitty I’ve been feeling, I take 50mg of Tbol (usual dose is 40mg) a few hours before my workout. I take 10mg extra just to combat the overall shitiness I’m feeling. I manage to get through my workout, although sluggishly.
After taking my shower, I can feel the fever start to come on. Felt like a trainwreck and measured a 38.5 °C (101.5 F) body temperature!
Funny thing is besides my body aching a bit more than usual after a workout I had no other symptoms of the flu or similar virus. No sore throat, no sneezing, excess mucus, breathing difficulties. I even had a decent appetite.
I woke up in the middle of the night shivering with drenched sheets and barely crawled out of bed in the morning and somehow made it to work after taking some aspirin and ibuprofen.
Needless to say I skipped my daily dose of 40mg of Tbol and I dare say I’m feeling slightly better than the last couple of days.
I would like to hear if you guys have any scientific or anecdotal evidence of an oral steroid such as Tbol which is considered a milder steroid causing such a prolonged shitty feeling and high temperature? I’m guessing @lordgains @unreal24278 and @blshaw could pitch in if they have the time, but I’m grateful to anyone willing to contribute.
I’m not positive it is the Tbol causing the issue and it could be a correlation not equaling causation so I’m pretty dumfounded here.
Tbol is one of the longer acting orals with a 16 hour half life. So, say skipping your dose one day doesn’t add up for me that you start feeling better because its still in your system albeit 1.5 half lives have gone by. Your symptoms sound more like a general cold/flu that hits us all every once in awhile. Tbol is, as you said, a milder oral as far as side effect profiles go so again it just doesn’t point to that being the source of your woes.
Occam’s razor says your issue isn’t the Tbol. Lots of things can cause 101.5 F body temperature, but I have never heard of Tbol doing that. Lots of things can cause a 101.5 F fever and feeling shitty (seems like the venn diagram for that one is a circle). I would look at the items that cause both a 101.5 F fever and feeling shitty before even considering the Tbol.
Hey @rusty_hammer, I’m pressed on time the last few weeks, which is why the more difficult questions often go by the wayside.
I tend to agree with the guys @mnben87 and @blshaw that most likely it’s not the tbol.
But, although AAS are not widely known to cause fever as a side effect, there are a few things they could possibly trigger which include fever. Steven Johnson Syndrom, an acute skin emergency begins with unspecific symptoms like fever and can be caused by many drugs. It’s very rare and the it’s more a problem of the specific body than of the drug. There’s other possibilities.
I say, stop the tbol, if you feel way better after 3-4 days, that’s a sign it was the Tbol.
Then you could start again and if you feel shitty on the latest on day 2, that’s a very strong sign it was the Tbol.
What’s your RBC and blood parameters by the way? This can also be caused by polycythemia.
Thanks guys for your input and it seems you’ve reached an unanimous conclusion that it’s not the Tbol. I’m feeling much better today, no fever or anything and as @lordgains pointed out, I’ll take my dose of Tbol today. If the fever comes back, then I’ll point my finger at the Tbol.

I’m taking my Tbol, fever is gone, must have been some sort of cold or flu like @blshaw mentioned.
I’m really on the fence on whether or not I want to PCT or just go the TRT route.
Weighing all the pros and cons, there really isn’t much I can gain by going back to my natural levels which were subpar to begin with. I’m 36 years old, not getting any younger, on test I have more energy, better focus, mental stability and assertiveness I could only dream about before. Before test my libido was non-existent. Now I’m enjoying sex like I used to.
The only downside is I’ll be using UGL test. However I do have a reliable supplier and decent manufacturer. I’ll be ordering enough to last me 2-3 years and the batch will be the same, so finding the proper, consistent dose shouldn’t be a problem.
It’s been a while since my last update. For anyone still reading, I will say that I prolonged my cycle to 16 weeks. Last pin was last week.
End numbers:
Bodyweight 231 lb (started at 210 lb)
Deadlift 530 lb (started at 415) = + 115lb
Press 200lb for 3 reps (started at 160) = + 40lb
Bench 300lb for 3 reps (started at 245lb) = + 55lb
I feel bench could have gone up more if it wasn’t for my shoulder joints acting up.
Despite gaining over 20 lb, my belt size has stayed the same. Actually I think I lost a few cm of my waist. My abs are starting to make an appearance for the first time in my life when being above 225 lb.
Overall, I feel my results were more than decent.
I’m not doing PCT. I have purchased enough test to last me the next three years and will continue with self administered TRT. My starting dose is 150 mg per week of Test C. I’m pinning twice a week.
Given the above TRT protocol I’m hoping to be able to hold on to my numbers while shedding a bit more fat. Ideally I would like to be at 220-225 lb before starting my next cycle which I plan on doing this coming winter.
Apart from the aesthetic benefits, the reason I chose to go down the TRT route is more or less the overall feeling of wellbeing. What tipped the scale is my wife commenting on how different I was the last few months. I’ve been much calmer, more confident, a better father and a much better husband. As a consequence my sex life has greatly improved.
I want to thank everyone on this forum that showed their support in this endeavor of mine. It would of been a rough ride without your knowledge and guidance.
Wow. Awesome progress.

Damnit man!! Sounds amazing!
Ain’t nothing like the first time.
Hey guys, how many weeks should I wait for my levels to stabilize before getting them checked to see what 150mg gives me?
5 weeks
Thank you!
