My first cycle here soon. I’m 28, 6’1 and 180 pounds.
As a fairly disciplined and regimented individual, I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I’m good at sticking to patterns that lead to routines, a foundational component for success in this endeavor. However, after years of contemplating starting my first cycle, the biggest hurdle is understanding the verbiage being used online. I hardly understand what people are saying. I’ve purchased three 10 ML bottles of 250 MG Test E
From what I gathered: the best option for beginners is Test E. Two injections of 250MG a week for a total of 500mg. Run for 10 weeks and get decent results. I still need some guidance on PCT.
Questions come when I read something like : "Week 1 test p 100mg EOD week 2 test p 75mg EOD week 3 test p 50mg EOD week 4 test p 25mg EOD Week 1-10 test E 250mg 2x week "
1.) What the hell is EOD? Can anyone explain that whole sentence in laymans terms, like what exactly is he taking.
2.) Is HCG necessary and why and why not?
3.) Is having adex “on hand” a must? and how much?
4.) What is TRT?
5.) Explain exactly how I should perform post cycle therapy
TD;LR - Typical new guy looking for someone to show me the ropes. Help me with the verbage and the need to know information.
ED means everyday or on some cases erectile dysfunction depending on the conversation. EOD means every other day. Its your injection schedule.
HCG is an LH (lutenizing hormone) mimic. It will keep your testicles from atrophying. Its not necessary but can be helpful to quicker recovery.
If you have high estrogen symptoms this is used to bring your E2 levels down. Its an aromatase inhibitor which prevents some conversion of Testosterone to E2.
TRT is testosterone replacement therapy. If you have primary or secondary hypogonadism you qualify for this treatment. TRT involves doctor administered testosterone to bring your levels back to normalcy. Some docs overprescribe so you see guys running borderline cycle levels.
Do a quick search. I will help you understand these things but I don’t lay out or advise on medications as I’m not a doctor/medical professional.
Here is how I read this, though it is missing some clarity:
Week 1: 100mg of testosterone propionate every other day
Week 2: 75mg of testosterone propionate every other day
Week 3: 50mg of testosterone propionate every other day
Week 4: 25mg of testosterone propionate every other day
Weeks 1 through 10: 250mg of testosterone enanthate twice a week
Where it lacks clarity is whether the 4 weeks of testosterone propionate are concurrent with the first 4 weeks of testosterone enanthate.
If I were trying to guess, it looks like the cycle is front loading testosterone, as testosterone propionate has a short half-life. Some front load with an oral steroid.
I do not think you are at a stage where a cycle is needed. In fact, I think you would see far greater gains if you dialed in your nutrition and training, then reconsidered AAS in the future.
Training (any of these will do)

I mean no offense by saying this, but you do not look like you train - and are in no need of steroids until it is blatantly apparent that you train… If you have to tell someone you lift, you are not ready for gear.
A person who can barely put on muscle naturally, will only do slightly better putting on muscle with the addition of steroids. A truth that might be hard to swallow.
All the questions you had + the pics you posted clearly indicates that you are at least 2-3 years away from doing steroids. If this is the best you could do and learn, then steroids wont change the lack of work.
If I were speaking in general, I would be much more brutal.
But the OP is asking what he believes is a sincere question. We don’t know much about his general knowledge of weight training, so I would prefer answering his question and probe a little more. It seems only considerate to ease him into the reality of his expectations.
He seems to truly know very little. Why beat him up for his lack of knowledge?
Oh, I agree on helping out, that is what the forum is for. I guess I’m “jealous” for not getting as much love with my question the other day about my proposed cycle (even though I have a good level of base knowledge) bc I’m overweight currently. My estrogen must be high lol
I try not to be “that guy”. We all start somewhere. I usually only get rowdy when someone, without knowledge, asks for an opinion and then argues with my answer when they clearly don’t have a basis to do that. For the most part people are honest and receptive. Asshats are usually in the minority thank goodness.
