Lookin sick ebomb
^ What DF said. Impressive work.
Holy crap…SICK
Sickening ![]()
Lookin’ awesome man (for a natty of course), I know I haven’t reminded you as much as the others, but I think you’re definitely gonna place well and kick ass. You should grab a sponsorship too, to help with the cost of supps and shit.
@ Dixie, Dove, and PB: Thanks guys, appreciate the encouragement!
@ H4M: Thanks brotha, appreciate your comments as always. Haha a sponsorship would be great, but let’s get the contest under my belt first ![]()
Looking great ebomb! The last pic, the front double bicep is awesome.
It has been fun to follow your log and contest thread.
This thread should be a sticky if it is not already.

Thanks deat!
I appreciate it man.
Here’s a video from today’s leg session:
This was done after 425 x 7.
Also, for those that are dieting, or even those that aren’t, here is a little snack that I have been really enjoying lately:
I have made it with no eggs and just egg white, 3 eggs, and anything in between. I also like to throw some frozen blueberries in there sometimes and usually top it with 1-2 tbsp of natural peanut or almond butter depending on how much fat I need at a given meal. This is a very nice pre-bed meal.
Some staples in my diet right now are:
Carbs: Low-Fat Popcorn/Ezekiel bread for carbs, low carb tortillas, sweet potatoes
Protein: Chicken, lean turkey, grass fed beef, omega 3 eggs
Fat: Natural Peanut or Almond Butters, coconut oil
I am a HUGE fan of low fat popcorn…it has a solid fiber content and you can eat a ton of it without consuming tons of carbs. I have been going through bags of it like nobodies business lol.
Just a little update. I’ll be doing these more often.
Your posing needs some tweaking… Bicep poses are off… you need to have your elbows above your shoulders… unless you have 20 inch arms when you pose with elbows below shoulders then the peak of your biceps also falls below your shoulders which makes them appear smallish. Try raising your elbows above your shoulders and you will notice your bicep peaks are now the higher than the shoulders resulting in the appearance of larger biceps. Remember this is all about appearance. I will follow up with several other recommendations but i typed out three paragraphs and it deleted itself so i will critique one pose at a time.
LEGS: you have good quads but your doing a half ass job showing your whole leg… in every pose… Relaxed pose… notice in my avatar how you can see a lot of my hamstring? from a staight on veiw your legs will never have the girth that you get when you add the hamstrings in… SO what to do… First in your relaxed pose point your toes more outward and possibly widen stance a smidge if your hamstrings collide and compress. maybe just the toes out will be enough. Either way your legs will look bigger and wider when you toe out. Second in rear poses exaggerate the toe out even more than you are and for god sakes get the back foot up on the ball so you are doing a calf pose too… I am pretty sure its madatory. Finally and this is huge… in your side poses as legs are concerned you need to get that front hamstring pressed up against that back leg to give it width. This is an old trick but very very impressive to see the differnce. You are almost there you may just need to get up higher on your ball on the front foot and bend the legs more and sort of wrap the front leg around the back or use the back inside upper leg to press into your front hamstring … I wish i had a picture handy to show you. If you cannot figure out what i mean let me know. I will find something.
Notice how every one of even these pros has their elbows above their shoulders? Also pay attention to Kai Greens leg positioning… Notice how they are really toed out on both legs and you can see all of their hamstrings… emulate this and your side will be greater.
Do you put anything on the popcorn?
Are you doing Layne’s style of HIIT, basically 15sec. sprints followed by 45sec. walk for 15min or so? I noticed my strength went down when doing this on low calories 3x/week and the week after I took it out strength went back up, but obviously strength is still solid for you. I wonder if I would have had the same issues if I did low impact HIIT like on a bike or something
What kind or brand of popcorn? I love popcorn. Have you tried just air popping your own?

Great point of advice there.
Also, as a quick side note, compare kai’s back in that pic with everyone else. His lower lats are absolutely insane - but then look at the traps compared to everyone else. Crazy difference.

I agree with Swolle here, Ebomb.
And man, you look fantastic!
One favor… please have you next round of photos shot from a lower vantage point. As it’s been, all your shots are from up high and this gives a bit of a distorted view. If you shoot lower, it would mimic the angle from which we’d see your physique from the seats of an auditorium.
@ Swolle: I really appreciate all of the posing help! I will definitely take all of it into account when I take my next progress pictures.
@ David: I don’t think HIIT has negatively affected my leg strength at all, and right now we are doing 4 HIIT sessions/week. Our sprint intervals are slightly different than the traditional 15/45, but have the same effect.
I just put salt on my popcorn.
@ Ryan: I use smart pop 94 percent fat free and usually get the kettle corn flavor. Amazing stuff. 1.5-3 grams fat/20-24 grams carbs per bag depending on the brand.
@ Ben: Definitely! Pretty crazy with Kai.
@ Iron: Thanks brotha…I’ll try to get some pics from a different angle next time.
So a quick update.
Wednesday, in the middle of the day, I seemed to catch some sort of 24 hour flu that lasted all through Thursday. I felt absolutely awful. Normally, I will train through sore throats or little colds, but this was much worse than that. I didn’t do the cardio I was planning on doing Wednesday night and took the day off entirely from training Thursday. Today, I did 30 minutes of incline treadmill walking and then 8 HIIT intervals on the bike ranging from 20-30 seconds in time plus a cool down. These felt great, and it seemed that my body was back to normal after getting a ton of sleep and taking a day off. I didn’t train today, but will resume with arms and shoulders along with HIIT tomorrow.
I am also taking the LSAT tomorrow, so that certainly contributes to stress a bit, another reason I may have been more susceptible to getting sick. But, I think I’m over it : ).
I should get some updated pics here on Sunday.
I’ll post a sample diet from today just to give you guys an idea of what my food selections are looking like nowadays.
Meal 1) 1 Quest Bar + 1 scoop TP protein
Meal 2) 1 Flax + Multi-Grain Roll-up, 2 slices sesame Ezekiel Bread, 5.5 ounces 99 % lean ground turkey, 80 grams broccolini, 1 tbsp salsa, 1 tbsp fat free black bean dip
Meal 3) 3 omega 3 eggs + 5 egg whites, 3/4 bag low fat popcorn
Meal 4) 2:1 Cookies and Cream Protein Bar, 1 scoop TP whey
Meal 5) 5 ounces wild Alaskan salmon, 1 chicken + spinach sausage, 4 multi-grain thin rice cakes, 80 grams broccolini
Meal 6) 3 pieces homemade protein fudge (made from protein powder, natural peanut butter, coffee)
Totals for the day were: 76.8 grams of fat, 139.2 grams of carbs, 299.9 grams of protein for 2,390 calories.
As many of you can see, the diet isn’t too bad at all right now.
As always, I appreciate all of your support, especially as we get down to the end.
Best of luck on the LSAT, I remember havin to prep for that.
How’s the prep going man?
Lsat go well? Over your cold yet?
Can’t wait to see you destroy the competition.
