I haven’t deadlifted without straps in over a year and this was a PR at my bodyweight…very happy with how easy this was.

Here is the squat, sorry for the angle. This wasn’t a rep PR (best is 17), but definitely a PR at my bodyweight.

Looking amazing in the updated pics Evan, great symmetry. & obviously amazing lifts. Your going to do well!

Both Layne and I were very happy with my conditioning/size at this point.

Not sure if I mentioned it, but we are just about 6.5 weeks out of the show right now.

Damn dude 605 DL while dieting for a contest, great work. Also that gym looks badass.

I probably just missed it but is Layne doing your routine as well or just diet? I’ve been rereading some of his stuff and just realized how he goes pretty high volume especially on legs and back. But generally I hear to cut back volume or at least not have really high volume when cutting

I haven’t homo-creeped you in a while, so here goes: Arms look bigger than I remember, so do shoulders…good work, man. Quads are ridiculous as always.

I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but Layne is not doing my training, just the diet portion.

My general feelings on training while contest dieting is to not change anything unless you are actually feeling run down. I am training with just as much volume/intensity right now as I was in the middle of the offseason.

Haha, thanks man…I’ve been working very hard on my arms and shoulders have improved a lot over the past year.

Ya, it’s a badass gym. VERY conducive for heavy lifting lol.
