You have the back of a pro (just smaller right now)! Delts are standout, but you know that already.
Haha wow, thanks! Idk about that, but it’s getting there.

Haven’t popped in here in a bit (too much traveling this summer), but DAMN brother, you are on track to F-ing kill it! Sure you’re leaning up, as everyone is pointing out, but you’re also retaining a hell of a lot of LBM, which is key! keep plugging big man! Gonna do serious damage come game day!

Thanks Stu! Always appreciate the comments of a pro!
I do feel that I’ve retained a ton of muscle, much more than I thought I would.
Under Layne’s guidance, and with some serious work, I hope to come in around 192-195 absolutely peeled.

Evan you appear to have either professional conditioning or amazing photoshop skills. Great, great, great work.
Haha, thanks hlss…the Photoshop made me laugh. I can barely edit and crop my photos!

More excellent pics!
Makes me conscious that I haven’t updated in a while. I blame that on the camera/fiancee issue, lol.
It’s tweaking my head, but i just don’t know where/how to get decent pics taken. I’m too conscious of looking like a ‘meathead’ in my gym, plus who do I ask to take pics? my training partner is a lovely guy, but something tells me he won’t be any good at taking a decent body shot.
Anyway Evan, you rock!

Haha, thanks BBB!
Taking pics is always a tough thing. Most of mine are taken on my back porch by my girlfriend, or in my house where I can find lighting that isn’t too dark or too light. I prefer outside though, as it is pretty much as natural as you get.
Sick work, man. The progress you’ve made is incredible.

Thanks bro! I appreciate the encouragement!
So I figure I’ll do a little writeup for my weekly update.
Weighed in yesterday morning at 205.4, which is an all-time low weight (down .6 lb from last Saturday). Physically, I am feeling great and feel that I am retaining a ton of muscle mass and losing virtually no strength (even gaining some on certain exercises). I have yet to feel the psychological effects of dieting that many have spoke of, but I’m sure those will come as I get deeper and deeper into prep.
I’m happy with this set of pics, as it seems that my legs are coming in better. I’d say by 8 weeks out, they should be significantly leaner and I should be close to contest ready.
So, here are some pics for this week. I might try and take some outdoors as well. Sorry for the odd lighting on some.
GTFO! with that side chest! lol we need to work on that again and the hip tilt. Aside from that things are coming together really well. Good work, Keep it up!
Damn, Platz’esque proportions!
Good work, Evan!
