Not much muscle? “A bit” cut?
He’s not huge, but he has at least an okay amount of muscle and I’d say that it’s very cut (he’s looks bigger in some of his pics on his interview at bodybuilding.com… but it’s hard to tell without a frame of reference… i.e. him standing next to something).
Not everyone wants to weigh 250lbs, so if getting cut and staying lean are his goals, I think that he’s doing a pretty good job.[/quote]
In Australia, on any beach, that is a pretty average physique. I am not saying he doesn’t look good, but what really annoys me is that I get the impression there is an army of worshippers out there thinking he is the greatest.
It does NOT annoy me that a lot of people want that physique.
What DOES annoy me is that is a NORMAL AVERAGE PHYSIQUE that everyone should have growing up and living an active lifestyle and maybe lifting some weights instead of reading articles analysing routines and being fanboys.
What annoys me is that the average has fallen to either really fat and lazy, or really thin and wasted, and what is worse, the GOALS of most people - their long term ultimate aim - is to be what used to be average: not fat, can see your abs, a tiny bit of muscle, mediocre strength.
You are not cut unless you can see striations on the muscles. Seeing abs is NOT CUT. Seeing a bit of muscle shape is NOT CUT.
I don’t know anything about the guy but my impression is that anyone who can pull off a beard like that has got to have a sense of humour and be a cool kind of guy, or be a nutcase. He’s eating eggshell as if it was hardcore instead of stupid, so perhaps a little of both.
My guess is the guy is an OK guy but this is a bodybuilding forum, when stuff like this comes along, I’d shudder if everyone starting saying how great the guy looks, and what a great idea it is to start eating whole eggs.
As far as I am concerned this site should be about cutting edge nutrition and the ultimate in human physique development. NOT about aiming for the mediocre and doing the stupid. And definetely not about giving the impression to beginners that this guy is the ultimate to aspire to.
