First Actual Picture of Thor

Seen it…it’s awesome.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are unbelievable, and Natalie Portman is so hot it should be illegal.

I need to get me a big ass hammer. The noise it makes when he smashes up frost giants completes my life!

I saw ign gave it 3.5 stars out of 5. I think i’m expecting a good movie, but not on the level of what the first Iron Man was. Also, what a bunch of crap you guys in other countries get to see it first!
But I give ign .5 stars out of 5.

This is the first production photo from The Avengers which just started filming.

Well I just got back and the movie was very good. Above all the other great things you may have heard the sound effects were great…when the Destroyer fires it’s weapon it makes a great sound.

At the end it says “Thor will return in The Avengers

Also, I told my girlfriend that we’d need to stay after the credits (the same way we did after Iron Man and Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk) but still after the end scene…she yet again said “Is that it?”

Does the “Thor will return in The Avenges” appear after the credits, or is it an actual filmed scene that I should be sticking around for?

It’s just some words on the screen near the beginning of the credits…but as I said there is a one minute scene after the credits.

One week away I can’t wait I knew Kenneth Branagh was the perfect choice as Thor’s director I’ve been a fan since his Hamlet film from the 90’s. I doubt I’ll go opening day as I hate dealing with the humans I’ll probably wait for a mon or tues showing just to avoid the riff raff.

By the Vishati it’s the Eye of Agamotto in the Thor film.

just watched the film today simply awesome, didn’t noticed it was Natalie Portman till midfilm.

Can’t wait to see it this week, good reviews pouring in everywhere.

I’m so excited about this movie. Everyone is giving a positive review about it, which rules cause i would be pissed if they screwed up Thor.

To anyone who watched it, i am the only who thinks that after the failed hammer pull scene Thor looked noticeable smaller?

I LOVED the art direction, and chris hemsworth was more than bearable as thor
“I NEED A HORSE!”
“We only have cats, dogs, and some parrots”
“THEN GIVE ME ONE BIG ENOUGH TO RIDE!” cracked me up

I heard the actor playing Thor is the same guy who was Captain Kirk’s dad in last year’s Star Trek movie.
how could he have played Capt. Kirks dad. this is a fairly young guy. lookes to be late 20s early 30s. i doubt seriously that he could play a 20 yr olds dad. expecially when the guys looks to be in his late 20s early 30s.
Didn’t see the movie, eh?
sorry, i preferred the real capt. Kirk, not some phoney. never got into the new star trek movies.
I thought I was the only one on the planet with this view.

Well, now there are two.

The new Star Trek was the best thing Star Trek could’ve possibly done this new century.

Watch it the other and it was pretty good. Hemsworth looked bigger than i though he would. Especially in the scene where he was tryna pull the hammer. Can’t wait for the Avengers!

I haven’t watched it yet, but according to this interveiw:

http://www.cineplex.com/News/Celeb-trainer-Duffy-Gaver-talks-turning-Chris-Hemsworth-into-Thor.aspx?cmpid=contenttag

they actually forced Chris Hemsworth to go on a diet, because he got so big he didn’t fit in the Thor costume anymore.

From the article, “In fact Gaver’s exercise routine was working so well that when Hemsworth went in for a fitting before the movie started filming, he’d already outgrown his costume. That meant dialing down the workout, refining the routine and working with a nutritionist to ensure Hemsworths growth stayed in check”

I guess the doctor from Grey’s Anatomy is up for the role McDreamy. I’d rather see George Clooney or someone commanding in the role.

Just thought I’d share one of my favorite pictures in one of my favorite issues of Thor(390). That’s Steve Roger’s as the Captain(he had stopped being Captain America in issues 332-333).

God of Thunder has arrived!!
