So anyway, I heard Thor and Captain America are gonna be in 3D. I guess Hollywood has totally fucked me over. If they fuck up the Highlander re-make, I guess I’m done with cinema.
I’ll take my ball and go home.
Post-production 3D looks bad, but you can still see it in 2D. I wouldn’t mind if it were filmed in 3D. The problem with 3D is they use it as a substitute for a storyline. If they had a solid storyline with cool effects in 3d then it’d improve the experience IMO. Whether it warrants the price hike is another story…

You guys are missing the most important element that can make or break this movie. How is Thor gonna sound? Thor has a very high and mighty Asgardian way of speaking. Is this dude gonna be able to pull that off? It can be real easy to make him sound real corny. I think the should hire the people who write for Spartacus Blood & Sand. They are good at writing in that type of tongue. Their just gonna have to leave out all the references to Jupiter’s Cock
Kenneth Branagh said in an interview that the movie will not feature the mock-Shakepearean language of the comics…
The teaser trailer is out and it looks bad ass. He seems a perfect fit for Thor. My only complaint is that it is in 3D and it says only 2D in select theaters. That is bullcrap. I refuse to see a movie in 3D and pay extra money.

The casting of Heimdall is pure genius and makes it way cooler.
Luckily the artists imporved this tired old myth of Heimdall
“Heimdal is all radiance.
With his flashing golden smile, his golden hair and fair white countenance,
he shines as the Sun and is indeed a solar deity.”
The kosher version of Heimdall is way better.
In all fairness that same artistic brilliance should have been used for Odin,
instead of the safe option.

40% on rottentomatoes you heard it here first.
I don’t even know what that means. The only critics I listen to at this point are the guys on spill.com.
Roger Ebert is still the best critic around.
Really? This is the same guy who thought Spawn was a great film?
Hey not saying he doesn’t have some questionable reviews what critic doesnt? Besides if you read the review he gave it a good review because of the art direction and style of it saying it “push the envelope” or trying to at least. Not like he heralded it for being a great movie.

In fairness it does look marginally better than this Thor incarnation
I like how in that clip, it seems like Thor pushed Banner into the breakers accidentally and then even tried to get him out.
Also, if Thor was threatening me, I don’t think I’d turn angry, more like pissing-my-pants scared. Can Bruce turn into the Hulk out of fear I wonder?

If you haven’t been watching “The Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” you may want to start (Best portrayal of all of those characters together that I’ve seen). The way they portray those two characters, the Hulk may just be the one being that does give Thor some trouble.

Is this a past/current series available on a network, or via dvd (or other media)?
