It must be nice to say 170 was easy!
All things considered, yes it is! Normally it would be a light training weight for me.
Wow, I am so incredibly impressed by your numbers! And not even because you are training around your pesky chemo schedule. You truly are an inspiration!!
Thanks.
Tonight’s training…squat
Knee sleeves
bar x 6
135 x 5
205 x 2
Belt and sleeves
245 x 1 with commands; easy weight
That is a lot of lifters. Do you know where you fit into the rotation? How many flights will there be?
Every meet I’ve done so far I’ve been up early because of my weight class.[/quote]
Not sure where my flight will be, but most likely first. There are 14 Women, so we will have one flight alone. It looks like there will be 4 flights total for the day, but maybe 5. Sometimes it is good to be up early

I’ve only ever had the crack of dawn so that’s what I’m used to. However, for worlds, my wight class lifts at 3pm (9pm our time). That will be a challenge maintaining weight so long in the day and hoping my body has somewhat adjusted to the change.
Thanks! Ouroboro, rcfromdb, soldog, Yo Momma, Sbmart2, mom-in-md and Agagain : Thank you some much for the congrats…I am pleased with how the day went. Really happy that there was 4 flights, gave me lots of recovery time before the next event ;-). Now to take a couple of days off, then start training for the next competition – the North American’s in August.
