I have two more squat sessions before my meet, so singles next week and then doubles for my opener the next. Just hoping the chemo drugs cooperate with me
Wait…am I the only one that didn’t know you were training for a meet again? When is it?[/quote]
x3
I decided to lift in our state meet. We are hosting it here in Killeen, so there is no travel involved. Decided to not wear any gear, so just the sleeves, wrist wraps and my belt. Will be interesting to see where I am. Oh, and the meet is May 16th so, three weeks away.

That was all for today. The new chemo meds cause some pretty bad bone/muscle pain all on there own…
Best of luck on the meet. I’m looking forward to seeing how you make out.

Thank you!
So Tuesday was my first day in our new Fire station, YAY!! I finally have a bathroom with a shower that is for females…no more waiting in line to get in and clean up. We also have a concept2 row machine – YAY, again! I love to row, great for my deads and squats.
Tuesday 5 May, 09 training – cardio
10 min on the row machine
10 min on the treadmill then we got a call and busy the rest of the day.
Wednesday 6 May — Chemo…nothing else
Thursday 7 May – Last Deadlift before my meet on the 15th.
135 x 8
205 x 6
245 x 4
285 x 4
belt
325 x 2
355 x 1
I will open with 353 lbs or 160 kg for the Deadlift. Last bench and squat yet to come…

160 x 2
170 x 1 with commands

All things considered, yes it is! Normally it would be a light training weight for me.

Wow, I am so incredibly impressed by your numbers! And not even because you are training around your pesky chemo schedule. You truly are an inspiration!!
