I think Bodybuilding is an art form in itself, which is what draws me to it. You are sculpting ‘art’ by building your body to look a certain way…and you get to lift weights in the process(one of my favorite things!!) :wink:

As for the whole body building thing, I can’t make a commitment to that at this point in time. My priority’s are my kidlets taking care of myself and the home. And Mama is applying for the PTA program and trying to get back to school in January… ALSO, next Summer is going to be all about family and having F-U-N when the hubby is FINALLY home for good. A trip to Michigan is in order to see SIL’s new baby as well.

LASTLY…I need to stay focused on doing one thing first. And whats the name of this log? (all together now!!)

I know I don’t have to justify my reasons and I really appreciate the potential people can see in me!

Maybe I’ll go out with a bang in 2012 before we leave Maryland onto our next adventure.

yes, that, and my true passion is lifting heavy(trying to) and having fun! I have a great deal of admiration for the sport of bodybuilding and curiousity gets the best of me from time to time. When it all comes down to it getting a hot beach body and showing off my ‘package’ that way is good enough for now, haha!

What I REALLY want to do is flip tires and fling heavy objects around :wink:

Nikki- when I started this weight loss journey the end result wasn’t me training for a bodybuilding show. I need to finish this goal first and sit with it awhile, make sure good habits are in place before I take on anything else. And I can still have more muscle and lower BF without getting on a stage! :wink:

I’m really not one that can be persuaded into something I have half a heart about. If I do this one day I want to be ALL THE WAY in…kwim?

I do appreciate the encouragement from all around here and in the gym. If it’s meant to be, I think it will feel right when the time comes.
We’ll see…it’s not totally out of the question…I’d still like to get an idea or a projected plan if you will, if I were to ‘hire,’ Vic as my coach.

Nikki- do you have anyone helping you with training/diet? And what about posing and the suit…this is an expensive hobby! lol
