I also have my 6 week progress pics to compare, but I’m embarrassed how I looked in the beginning…
I’m kinda at a crossroads…like, what do I from here? sort of thing. I’m sick of dieting and hopefully I’m not literally making myself sick! I wanted to continue on until shortly before Thanksgiving but I’m not sure.

I still don’t know how much I weigh. I’m actually scale-phobic now, haha.

But these are my 6 week measurements:

chest: 40- 38
belly button: 34- 29
butt- 40- 37.5

Good training this morning all things considered. Mother nature swapped out the wicked back ache I was getting with insomnia. Gee, thanks. I caved and guzzled a red line pre-gym. All better!

Regarding that article on exercise yeah its bullshit disregard that. You DO want to be careful with stimulants because once the thyroid is compromised its easy to blow out the adrenals. If the adrenals get blown you have to fix those before you can address the thyroid making the whole process longer dumber and more painful. I understand the need for caffeine though believe me before I was treated I used five hours every. single. day.

I really want to see you on some supplmenetal thyroid hormone as fast as possible.

Hallowed- now I’m kinda worried. I’ve been doing energy drinks for longer than I can remember, something recently I’ve been trying to wean from… I also have about 4 cups of coffee/day…no ‘fat burners,’ though.

RE Adrenals I was really lucky mine were totally fine so I could just work on the thyroid stuff. The test is the 4x in one day salivatory cortisol test. NOT the just one time a.m. cortisol test you need the 4x in one day.

Anyhoo, it’s going to be another looong day as I woke at 330am this time, and could. not. get my brain to be quiet. grr, silly brain.

Took the kiddos to another fall festival yesterday. Daughter won the costume contest for her age, yay! Then I took them ‘trick or treating,’ in one of the town squares. Lots of compliments to my little girl. She was born to be a witch! :slight_smile:

Then we came home and made a ‘Daddy Scarecrow.’ :smiley:

I saw some small girls coming into the gym in costume as I was leaving, too. Halloween isn’t as big a deal here as it is in the US but we’re catching up.

Well, made it through that ok…thought I was gonna fall out from lack of sleep.

Bring on the Holidays and lets fast forward to Feb when the hubs gets to come home for some RnR…hate to think this ahead of time, but its really gonna suck to see him have to go back to that hell hole, (AGAIN)… :< Can it be May 2011 already?

I got stopped by 2 separate people asking if I was getting ready for a bb’ing comp…And then Jackie(director lady) asked if I ever thought about training for PL meet. Good for my ego.

showing up to the gym is a challenge and the competition against myself is enough. It makes me question things though when people ask.

1 hr later The school bus driver stopped just to tell me I had pretty hair, thought that was funny…LOL!!!

MiM, that’s great with all the compliments! You certainly deserve them! You do have pretty hair! Your daughter is so cute! A very adorable witch! Your training is always very impressive. I hope you get the thyroid thing taken care of. I don’t know why you would start training differently since it has been working for you. Is there anyone you can talk to about that?
