Finish What You Started

Will start posting foods again as I prepare to end dieting sometime in the near future…in 2-5 more inches? haha…I love going by inches and not pounds. Honestly it’s kinda nice not knowing how much I weigh.

coffee coffee coffee

salmon/ff cream cheese
baby corns

coffee

cottage cheese
cukes

pork steak

*I tend to eat bigger meals spread through the day, instead of a million tiny ones. Just in case you are wondering, most of my proteins are 40-60grams/meal  And my kidneys haven’t exploded yet.
Except for today…wasn’t that hungry.

Hmm salmon and cream cheese… perfect pairing.

…makes me want sushi.

You have coffee with 40 grams of protein! Me want

Your size 8s are like my size 12s…

Pegg told me he heard on the news the other day that 23 MILLION Americans are of age to serve in the military, but too fat to do so.

How convenient.

(have a good day and thank ur hubby for us.)
That’s a startling stat.
And some of these people get waivers to get in, but eventually get medically discharged because of other problems that develop(knees, feet, back problems) and then they get disability because they find a reason to blame the military for there ‘health issues’…argh!
Which is why when the Army called after I took the ASVAB and said they would “make sure” I would make it through basic training, I still said no, because I would just be discharged for exercise induced asthma.

congrats on the 11 years, Betty!

those pics are showing your hard work is working…great job! kudos to you not weighing anymore. i wish i could throw the scale out but it is the reality check that keeps me from straying too far. although i spose a tape measure would do the same and actually be more meaningful. maybe i’ll try this too…

and nice ink addition there too!

Im sure it’s frustrating to see, but given the choice, I’d give twice as much disability to a member of the military than ONE MORE welfare cunt with 4 kids, 4 dads, hair done, jewelery blingin, cigarette smoking entitled piece of shit who expects the govt to pay for tylenol for her sick kid. / rant

but srsly, the weight loss is awesome, and so are the inches vs lbs you’re paying attention to.

whatd the hubs say abt the tattoo?

It is so awesome to see your progress. Just a little more to go and you’ll have those size 8s!

TYVM everyone.

I was reluctant to post those pics, but it is what it is. Its not even a 6 pack that I want but I would like the belly to be a little less soft. Is it partly genetic? Even when I was 140-155 back in the day pre-kids, my tummy was still squishy. When I lay down and crunch up I can clearly feel my abs underneath the 2 inches of flab

sorry.

Anyhoo, made it to the gym. I felt cool. Although the popular trainer lady was hoggin up my side of the gym with her stupid circuit thing she had her groupies doing. I made my way through them and showed em what was up.

Hey T…thanks for dropping in!!
Not weighing myself is hard, but the pics and KNOWING I’m shrinking despite what the scale says means more!

Nikki- sushi is exactly it…I spread the cream cheese on, roll it up, add soy sauce, wasabi and sesame seeds! 2F/4C(I think?) and 34P!!! And I like to eat asparagus with it!

Grny- you’ll get there, promise!!

CB- good point…and the hub lubs the tatt. He knows I have plans for more! He’s got some catching up to do when he gets back. I’ve already out-tatted him

yah… it’s just where your body stores the most fast and it’s gonna be the last to go. i hold fat the same way (except i don’t have the hourglass going like you do) and get lean in the limbs and upper torso LOOOONG before i start to lose the fat around my middle.

but it’s definitely losable. just keep eating trict and smart, training hard, and thinking fat loss thoughts. =+)

Awesome progress MiM, you’re looking fantastic!

Sometimes I feel like I haven’t been training/dieting right. I don’t want to be a smaller squishier version of my bigger self. You’d think after 2 yrs I’d be, uhh, firmer? Maybe now that I’m closer to my weight goal, the next 6-12 months will be spent tiiiightening everything back up. haha

Thank you for sharing Deja!! same habits different day FOREVER! I’m not getting any younger though…

Hey Inky!

Thanks…grin

Imma tryin…

Lunch in a bag.
I live by these steamer bags…

Today I tossed asparagus n shrimp…(added, curry, coconut extract, onion/garlic powder, pepper and salt)

Voila…

It was almost like a soup…a little too much pepper, but yummy on a cold/rainy day.

I steamed it…there steamer bags, lol. I’m not THAT blonde, sheesh…

and thanks Inky!!

Im drinking dunkin donuts coffee…it’s not as good as I remember it. Kinda watery actually. Hmm.

I like my folders in the morning…black with one splenda and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Any other good coffees out there I should try?

I spent the afternoon gutting my cupboards. I was starting to get lazy with the foods my kiddos were eating :frowning: Its easy to buy the convenience foods. But I’m willing to spend the extra time making stuff.(and NOT binging on it myself!! :bangshead:)

I vow to not buy any more enriched wheat products. And nothing with high fructose corn syrup or any other ingredient that my grandmother couldn’t pronounce. It’s going to be hard, but I know it’s for the best.
