Finish What You Started

Im gonna be sad when these jeans get too big…there are all nice and worn in and comfy.

wow, I have no butt.

must work on that!

No, you won’t be sad when those jeans get too big. There are BETTER jeans out there for you to bring home when you need them.

Maintenance land is a nice place. Once you figure out where your body’s set point is (how many calories you can consume and the scale stays the same) and you commit to eating that amount (perhaps more one day, less the next), its a fine way to live. I think cutting is WAY WAY harder than what I do.

There is just no way I can do the fasting thing. I turn into a homicidal bitch-on-wheels when I’m hungry and can’t eat.

I had a boyfriend who hated cucumbers to the extent that he was almost afraid of them. Something very Freudian going on there…
I seem to be naturally IFing on Wednesdays and Thursdays - I’m at school on those days and am rushing around a lot. I forgot my lunch one day and realised that I could manage just fine without. Fridays I have a full hour for lunch (Thursday and Friday I’m on duty for half my lunch hour) so I go to Marks & Spencers and buy something nice - sushi or their Asian lunchbox which has salmon, veggies and rice. The rest of the week I’m at home and eat a lot, lol.

I like cucumbers…not in love with them though. I think the only veggy I don’t like is beets…are beets a vegetable? ya, they grow in the ground.

pretty fun day yesterday on the pumpkin farm…we were there for 5 hours!
Prices rose from last year though…and pumpkins were $5 a piece, they were free with the price of admission last time…I guess because it was a rough growing season??

Today we are going over the bridge to the Marine Museum. We’ve been there a few times but today it’s FREE and theres a bunch of outdoor stuff going on…maybe get an ice cream cone by the water one last time…I have a feeling this is going to be the last warm weekend til next year! :frowning:
…we’re also going to check out the Halloween store over there and hopefully get the kids costumes so they stop bugging me about it, lol…

I’ve thrown 3 beetles and 3 caterpillars out the door this morning alone…wth!!! :irked: And these black beetles FLY…One was buzzing around my head last night which is what woke me up cause I passed out on the couch as usual.

I somehow managed to throw my back out while I was giving the little one her bath last night…I was squatted down and when I tried to get up I got stuck with this searing pain…I couldn’t move and had to breath deeply through the pain…It still hurts this morning.

My cold is better…I’m shooting for Tuesday to be back in the gym. Thats almost two weeks that I haven’t been! :open_mouth:

I thought I hated beets until I tried eating them without pickling. Turns out they weren’t so bad especially cold with a little olive oil, salad style.

The bugs are trying to get in where it is warm for the winter- a true sign of the changing season.
That or your kids are keeping the doors open all the time  I remeber my Mom screaming, “this ain’t a barn!” lol.

Sucks bad about your back - hope things get better soon.

My poor back is very sore after all the standing/walking. It sort of feels like I pulled a heavy deadlift with a severely rounded back…it’s right in my lower back too…since when does my back give out on me randomly? I do remember rounding my back as I was getting up instead of keeping it straight…and then I just got stuck…hmm

.but we had fun! In between all the lecturing about not BEGGING ME FOR CRAP and warning my daughter to STOP WHINING!!! she whines about anything and nothing…She also gets easily overwhelmed, so when we first get somewhere it takes her awhile to warm up.

pretty

who said I wasn’t crafty?

And we went out to sea!

cheese!

And we get to every single thing that we did through these last few month all over next year with the Hubby

looks like you had a blast - and you are a very pretty MILF to boot

Looks like fun. You have a truly beautiful smile.

It takes two bottles of dye for my hair, but lately I’ve only been doing the roots and little strands. I like long walks on the beach and canoeing. [/quote]

Well Hello There (just catching up)

Glad to hear that your cold has cleared up !

I am a libran who likes long walks on the beach and squashing my feet into the sand

Thanks all for the compliments

Hey Damo!

No gym this morning…still having a hard time breathing and coughing up loogies the size of quarters, ew…managed a brisk 25 minute walk though. I felt like I had to do something at least. I’ll load up with meds tomorrow am and do my best in thee gym. I feel soft and flat :frowning: Eating is back on track and ready to tackle the next 10 lbs…

Was talking to a neighbor lady at the bus stop today…we were both complaining about our house, haha…and she has a theory about why they sent those big wig insurance adjusters out…that maybe they are trying to find a reason to tear these houses down sooner rather than later. If they have as many houses as they say they do with roof damage, it may cost less just to tear all these houses down and move people rather than fixing it.

who knows…and I now know for a FACT the roofers didn’t do jack SHIT to fix anything…another lady said she saw a guy put some caulking on and thats it. :irked:

And no one has come to fix my sons celing or wall and it smells funky in his room. He had a cold and was getting better and started to feel crummy again yesterday. Daughter is constantly sneezing with a runny nose and cough…is our house making us sick?? I remember back in August when hubby was here we thought she was getting a cold…whats going on?!

Oh, I didn’t tell you all? They’ve had to move several people out of this neighborhood due to MOLD INFESTATION…

Thats just great.
And I’m under the impression that since all these houses are connected and all these house were built at the same time(like 50 years ago) They ALLLLL have mold…And check this out…this is three weeks worth of mold I did on a home test… pretty gross, right?

And OF COURSE I’m finding all this stuff out while the hubby is gone. cause thats just the way things work.

Hubby wants me to get a couple more home mold tests done and send one in for results. He wants me to make the push to get moved outta here. I’m all for it, but what a chore!

Yuck!!! How d’you get rid of mould?

Oh and my kids are allergic to penicillin, btw…

And I wanted to back up on part of the story…when we had that tropical storm a couple weeks back a lot of damage was done to the roofs…but I feel like the damage was already done, especially from last winters 96" + of snow we had…

all it took was one big storm to do that to all these houses?

Let me back up even more…we got here to MD in April of '08…we were moved into another old dilapidated housing area, having been told that we would be moved into brand new housing that they were building that Fall…Fall and winter and Spring/Summer of '09 came and went and we were still not moved cause they kept pushing the date back…We were fed up and just wanted to be settled in somewhere so we requested to not wait any longer and move over here…what a mistake!!!

That mold was spawned from an air sample.

From an air sample? Holy crap that’s gross! Yes, definitely do whatever you can to rectify the situation there. It sucks having to do it yourself, but it’s not worth waiting for hubby to return. Good luck!
