Have thought about this thread a bit and here are some thoughts.

I think there may be a profound difference between a 35 year old and say a 55 year old.
 When I was 35 I could do triceps extensions and curls and get a great pump on my arms.
 Perhaps it would be better to put energies into big lifts-while focusing on triceps and shoulder girdle and let biceps follow.
 Could always hammer the biceps 4 weeks before the class reunion.

  When I was 35 I could still pound my body. At 55 I must be more efficient.
