So I competed in my first figure comp July 4th/09, and now the federation has introduced the bikini category for 2010 which has me thinking. Could you see the potential to cross over? I have gain a decent amount of muscle in the off season but not sure it’s enough for figure. I’d like to hear some honest feedback.
How did you do in your last contest?
You look great but you don’t look anywhere near developed enough to compete in fitness/figure, save for your back thickness/erectors. Take a look at “venusismyplanet” on the RMP forum and see just how much overall development she has, and how long it took her to get there.
I guess it depends on what level you want to compete, but in either case, you’d get better feedback from the figureathlete.com site since there’s compêtitors at various levels posting on there.
The best response us reprobates can come up with is “I’d hit it. Twice”
Definitely a little “small” for a figure girl, but might work well for bikini! Even if you gain as much as possible you’ll probably be fine to do bikini this year, but next year, if you wanted to transition to figure, I bet you could do well.
Lol well thanks for the feedback, I’ll post on FA and see what the ladies have to say
Plus these pics are from over 6 months ago, and I only seriously trained/dieted for 11 weeks before the competition. I was a cardio queen then realized heavy lifting is a must!

Hell ya
And yes I’d say do bikini this year, probably figure next.
Bikini is the softer subtle muscle of a woman in a more curvaceous accentuated way.
Figure is a good deal more definition, next up from that is bodybuilding so ya.
you look great! You don’t have a lot of muscle definition in your legs, and I don’t think it’s due to too much body fat! You would need to work your legs, and some more abdominal definition. Your back is excellent. I will refrain from immature and unprofessional sexual innuendos. (wipes up drool from keyboard…)

I’ve been to enough shows to see a trend. Many women cross over whether they think they will do well or not, simply because the judging criteria is still kinda hazy. You’ll see a girl place 2nd in figure, but then 5th in bikini. Obviously she’s in great shape, but as the judges are looking for slightly different things in each class, her placings are a bit askew. What happens ultimately? She goes home with two top 5 trophies and the audience is left wondering what the different judging guidelines were -lol
