I posted on another board, something about guys not liking training with women, and that one guy mentioned that he feels women don’t belong in MA because they aren’t big and strong enough. That made me sad, because he is probably missing out!
When I started TKD there weren’t many girls in the class, but I looked at it like this, all the more boys for me (I was like, 18 and the training wasn’t my main focus!) And I had to spar the guys, and get used to it, which has probably made me a lot more competent at sparring, cause most guys don’t blush and say sorry when they land a good hit on you! They go “I am so awesome!” So I learnt about dealing with attitude.
As to weight loss, I find the slow burn is best for me, cause if I crash diet, I feel like crap on the day, and don’t perform so well.
