Hiya folks.
I wanted to know which fruits and dry fruits/nuts contain the most fiber. Thanks.
To give you a little help decoding that list, I took the liberty of running the first page through some simple excel stuff to normalize the data. Why the government cant normalize it themselves or use the same fucking size for everything escapes me… The top 10 most fibrous foods (from the first page only, because the other pages have low fiber content, even normalized):
g(fiber) per g(food)
…0.293…Kellogg’s All-Bran
…0.183…Bulgur
…0.156…Barley
…0.154…Oat Bran
…0.122…Whole-Grain Wheat Flour
…0.105…Navy Beans
…0.100…Whole-Groat Buckwheat Flour
…0.090…Pinto Beans
…0.087…Black Beans
…0.086…Artichokes
Well, ok…my post was about the fiber content found in nuts and fruits specifically. But this helps somewhat, thanks.
