Feminists Blaming the Media

Thank you. How ironic is it to have a serious discussion of women’s issues in a place called Tnation?

Deb’s comments about how sexual attraction is frequently not a deal in human interactions is a good one too. My husband has said this about his workplace. Of all the women there, there might only be a couple who he would even think of as attractive in that way. Fortunately, he doesn’t supervise them. I’ve seen some of the people he works with so I believe him. Seriously, if you line up 20 random men at Costco on any given day, how many of them would you even think about harassing? Many are going to be instantly eliminated as being the wrong age, either way or you just would instantly say ā€œnoā€ to their appearance. Yes, that’s shallow but probably true. Still, my husband points out that men will never be so ā€œevolvedā€ that they don’t find some women attractive. LOL! I wouldn’t want to change that.

Yep, true about how hard it is to find a person you’re attractive to in a random sample. lol

I always compare it(office/job romance) to cheating like if you have this life(maybe you have an SO or not) with a job and all that and then you loose your mind over someone(or maybe something, like drugs) and start ruining things in your life. But just like with cheating, was your life/job/whatever all that great if you could be so easily lured away? Something was missing, or it’s self sabotage. There will always be trouble with men and women in the workforce together because there will always be people looking for a reason to screw up their own lives, removing one sex from the equation will not stop that from happening. Office romance is just one of many ways people find to screw up their lives.
