Whoever said Dane Cook was funny is dead wrong. Stupid frat-boy ramblings announced at high volume do not equate to funny… unless you’re a stupid frat boy.
Agreed, but big angry black woman ramblings aren’t funny either, you crazy hippie!
ummm YOu can NOT be talking about Wanda Sykes there lanky. You must have her confused with someone else.
I know exactly who she is, although I admit she’s not into big black angry woman ramblings. I just wanted to convey to ID how she wasn’t funny and that was the best I could come up with, lol.

I think he’s a good entertainer who can be funny sometimes.

dane cook is not funny at all.

I dont think there is a single female comedian i would want to see do standup, but i do laugh as suzie esman (most likely mispelled) from curb your enthusiasm.

What people think is funny is way too subjective. But I do have this notion that you can tell a little bit about a person by who they think is funny.

I always liked Sarah Silverman. Wanda Sykes… eh… don’t like unattractive, unfunny lesbians.
Sarah Silverman isn’t funny to me at all. I am still trying to figure out how she got her own show…and how it is still on the air. Her whole act seems to be to simply act as silly as possible…which is only funny if your name is Jim Carrey.
Same reason Carlos Mencia did - Try to fill the void left by Dave Chapelle.

Recently saw Amy Schumer who was pretty funny but obviously not that great. But she’s easy on the eyes as well.

Dane Cook: Not funny. Actually READ some of his jokes, they’re not funny. It’s all in his delivery, so kudos to him, I guess. He’s made millions off of yelling.

Great stuff, Mak.

Some people will like dane cook, some will hate him, but this thread is to find the ever so elusive funny female comedian. Not debate on whether or not dan cook really is funny, cuz well he obviously is… =)

I don’t know of any female comedians who are funny. I hear Wanda is funny but I haven’t seen her.

I’ve always liked Lily Tomlin.

I must AGREE with the BIG BOSSS!

yeah I also have to say I can’t think of one female I would lay down cash to go see and thats is strange considering how many there are. Stand up is a whole differnt animal I like Jim Carey but his stand up sucks azz. I love almost everything larry sanders put his hands on but his stand up sucks as well.

The best that ever did it were Pryor, Carlin, Chris Rock and in a crazy way I have to put Seinfeld in there. Becuase They could talk about almost any random thing and make me laugh some could make me laugh harder than others but all the above could make me laugh often.

Nina Conti has made me laugh pretty hard, though shes a ventrilaquist so im not sure if it counts. It’s probably all the monkey.

All the others mentioed in this thread have at most made me Chuckle, Ellen has not even slightly amused me, she makes me want to fall asleep.

As far as TV shows and not stand up, I’ve never seen It’s Always Sunny, though Sarah Chalk’s character (Elliot Reed) on Scrubs cracks me the fuck up, Jordon has some great lines too. Cokie Smurf on Californication is pretty funny sometimes. I can’t believe I have to think this hard to come up with more…be back later lol.

Also there’s Molly Shannon, Sykes, Cho, Etta May and southern chicks of comedy.

Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey and Kristen Wiig are frickn hilarious. There are plenty of funny women out there.

Actually, now that I think of it, whenever Amy Sedaris is on Letterman she makes me LOL hard. But she’s not a comedian.
