Feets Don't Fail Me Now

Ankles? WHat happens to ankles?!

You know…I doubt anyone cares what your feet look like. I also know this may come across as strange that all people aren’t made like you. Some of us can tell very readily when our skin is dry. Some of us are even dark enough to see it. Strange, I know…other people being on the planet and all. It is even more apparent on your feet at times (ankles, heels, whatever).

It’s cool if you don’t care. It’s cool if you go two months without cutting your toenails or if you think lotion is only for women. That’s your prerogative.

I am sure you stand out as a shining example of masculinity to all who see you.

Congrats.

Yeah. I make the Gawd Awful mistake of making sure my toe nails are trimmed and that my ankles don’t look like I’ve been kicking bricks all day. I forgot that’s feminine.[/quote]

Be a man!!

I’m sorry but I just didn’t understand the ankle thing before.

…and thanks for not bringing up my dogs.

I have a pair of Vibrams but I have been doing a lot running lately and a couple of the guys at the gym have these Inovate. Was looking for the all purpose shoe, something that I can squat, DL and run in.

Any body have these?

Sorry X not trying to hijack thread.

Those look nice. Who makes them?

Thanks…I have a nice light pair of Adidas that I run in that look like those.

It’s funny what a huge difference thinner, lighter shoes make when you run, and i don’t just mean for speed…over the miles it helps a lot too.

^ Yep, I am just trying to find a good cross training type shoe. I do more sprints and box jumping etc. but need something to push a prowler and do Yoke walks. Vibrams are kind of weird pushing prowler to me, to much stretching of my toes.

Just tried these things on. You must absolutely try them on first. We measured my foot but have to go one size bigger (and of course to the size they don’t have in stock).

If you have a wide foot, I recommend the laces. For the same size, I couldn’t even get my foot into a couple different models.

You have to be Bigfoot’s cousin or something because I can wear the KSOs with no problem with my size 11 1/2 or 12 wide Fred Flintstone feet.

I’m just “girthy” all over…

DJ have you tried Nike Frees? I use those for almost everything, but I still use my oly shoes for squatting and what not.

^ Nope but that was the other option, I have a skinny ass foot and Nike are my preferred shoe cause they run narrow. Guys at the gym have the shoe I put up there.

Only problem is you have to order online, I really want to try them on. But nobody that has them has my size 11, they are all wearing 9.

Get out of here with your old man velcro shoes, buy another pair of vibrams. I just ordered the Kodomomomom Sport LS, the one with the pull string so I can be bad ass and tie my shoes the same way I start my lawn mower…like a man.

These are the other ones I could choose.

No these are the ones I got, with the black/green color scheme–which is picture.

I got these because they seem a little bit heavy duty compared to others–on the top–but still thin on the bottom. It is recommended for fitness and running…that’s what I plan on doing with them. Hill sprints and lifting.

^ Ease into the running, the wife has been running in her’s but took her awhile your calves will be dying and really stretch the achilles.

I was planning on just walking around with them for a few days, then next week starting my hill program which isn’t much to begin with.
