Feets Don't Fail Me Now

Why don’t Vibram call them Fivetoes?

Indeed. They are the new Crocs.

Cool! Post somewhere else then, Jesus.

Iron Dwarf, they make them in fairly small sizes. I’m not sure what exactly constitutes a “dwarf” size but I think (don’t quote me) they have sizes down to the equivalent of men’s 8.

Only if you change that horrid avatar.

Also, I am not Jesus.

Boo, that sucks, lol. Again, I might be wrong, because those Euro sizes are pretty damn confusing to me, haha.

Yeah, the site says use a ruler. They size the shoes based on foot inches.

That’s great! I assume that goes for width as well… since I have a wide foot.

I’d say try them on. Mine were 4 European sizes smaller than my normal shoes.

They sell kids versions of these so I am sure you are safe.

I have a wide foot too and these conform just fine. Once again though, I wouldn’t wear these if I had a long day of walking through the mall planned…which reminds me I haven’t seen a mall in about 6 years.

Was that the previous style they came up with?

It takes a real man to wear pink, huh?
They’re red…
Haha I was at the lake a couple of weeks ago. This kid, about 18, was psyching himself up to jump off a cliff. I said to him “you’ve gotta jump, you’re wearing pink clogs”. He made the same response “They’re red”. I gotta give him credit, he did jump.

By the way, is anyone else in shock X didn’t go with black?

My 9 year old has a pair. He also has a smaller pair from when he was 7 or 8.

If anyone cares, I really recommend the classic style over the KSO style. They are so much easier to get on and they stay on my feet just fine. I also find that the strap on the KSO style, the one that originates down in the arch area, tends to bother my plantar fascia a little bit.

^ Another post since edit never works for me. I meant to respond to the post about how small they go. I just looked at my son’s, he’s actually wearing a woman’s size.

I went ahead and went with the Komodo Sports (not sure if I ever mentioned that.) I wore them around the neighborhood a few times (~3 mile walk,) and got some wicked blisters / serious ankle-area stress from them. As I’ve worn them more and more, though, even this morning I hardly noticed anything at this point around the neighborhood.

So, deadly when first breaking them in, and smooth afterwards. 8)

Just tried these things on. You must absolutely try them on first. We measured my foot but have to go one size bigger (and of course to the size they don’t have in stock).

If you have a wide foot, I recommend the laces. For the same size, I couldn’t even get my foot into a couple different models.

They’re shipping mine up from the nearest store. Said they can’t keep the damn things in stock.

I love my Vibrams just don’t wear them to the airport because they will make you walk around that filthy ass place barefoot while asking you where they can score a pair.

You have to be Bigfoot’s cousin or something because I can wear the KSOs with no problem with my size 11 1/2 or 12 wide Fred Flintstone feet.

Just trace your foot on a pizza box and measure heel to your longest toe, that’s what I did (Don’t judge me). If you can’t fit a men’s size you could always get a women’s pair.

(Seriously)

You go girl!

Yeah, how do you take care of your feet?

That’s asked in the Zen koan way not the “I want to know how” way.

Weekly Pedi
Lotion three times a day
foot egg at night
foot powder before day
wait three days between wearing shoes

Yeah. I make the Gawd Awful mistake of making sure my toe nails are trimmed and that my ankles don’t look like I’ve been kicking bricks all day. I forgot that’s feminine.
