Thanks Hogar! Most kind of you! Glad I can be of any assistance! I too come here for inspiration, and really appreciate this community!
I am 46 y.o. and my length is 180 cms (meaning 5ā11).
It was planned readings āon spotā, 3 times with 3 months apart. Same time in the morning. I live a life very based on routines, even more so because of Covid-19. Diet, sleep, work, daily activities and excercise - all the same over time, even on weekends.
The readings correlate well with reality, how you would expect a person to look with these numbers. I actually do see a difference in the mirror. More so re clothes, as I used to be a typical Large in sizes - now more into a big Large/small XL person - meaning Large is tight on me these days.
Well, then there is definetly something here
I am actually doing very similar routine, but not being able to go to a gym, with some different exercises.
I am very happy that you are seeing realistic result, we are very close in age and I can definetly relate with lifter like you as a potential gains.
Thanks again, please continue with your contribution here.

Reflecting a bit on my last bioimpedance measurement. In the past 3 months it shows an increase in bodyweight of 3 kg (6,6 lbs), out of which 1,5 kg (3,3 lbs) is muscle.
From this you might draw the conclusion that the additional 1,5 kg (3,3 lbs) is fat gain. The bodyfat rose from 13,3 to 14%.
I would at first consider this a correct assumption, since I have indeed consumed a calory surplus, at approx 3000-3500 kcal, though primarily healthy foods.
Now to my hopefully interesting theory: Right from the start I hurt my right knee joint in the, to me, newly introduced leg extension machine, probably due to heavy weights being used. Got back to the leg press, frustrated by a swollen and stiff knee that nevertheless tolerated further excercise. Did some studying and decided to try supplementation of - collagen. The knee healed in 1-2 weeks, believe it or not. Have continued with 4 grams/day with collagen for the past three months.
More interesting is the attached article from T-nation, stating that you will get an increase in lean mass, only that it isnāt muscle - but ECM. This may explain a part of my recent gains, as I donāt really buy into the fat hypothesis - as I simply canāt SEE any more fat on my body now, compared with before. Truth or false, who knows?
Iāve seen some recent articles which talked about the combination of collagen and vitamin C as helpful when rehabbing tendon and ligament issues. What was interesting was the exercise protocol did not require heavy loading of the tendons, but rather lighter loads applied with greater frequency. I think I first saw it in a Menās Health or Menās Journal article several years ago, but donāt have a link for that.
It seems to have some real science behind it, for example:
Added: It was Outside Magazine that had the laymanās version. Just google the title, which was āHow Jell-O Could Speed Up Injury Recoveryā. Should see an article on Outside Online dot Com.
I think maybe you are confusing posts from 2 people? I donāt believe that pettersson has posted any pictures of himself. The photos further up the thread were posted by Jeff60.
