Favorite Zombie Killing Weapon

honestly, if a zombie attack wold be imminent, a bacteria that eats at dead flesh would be amazing to produce in high amounts spray one zombie in it, and the bacteria will spread zombie to zombie, it’s best to fightthem with their own weapon.

honestly, a shortbarreled .22 would be a great mid range weapon. can carry hundreds of rounds for it, and can get clips that hold 50+rounds for certain guns. Thick leather with a police riot shield, and a neck guard would be optimal.a a club with a few 4" nails in it to penetrate the brain.

Would electricity pacify zombies? if so a tazer baton sort of deal would dispatch zombies with a tap, with no mess.

If you ate an infected animal, that looked uninfected, would you get infected?

In the event of a defencive position, where zombies are already massed, and loud noise won’t matter, any caliber rifle meant for deer or bear would be great with an adjustable 1.5-10x scope.

I shot with this shotgun that had a batery powered red dot scope, and shot slugs. It was fucking amazing. I even got to shoot at old bowling pins rotfl. In the time before this happens, people need to invent “shredder” rounds like the ones from halo. Once you find a defencible position, a bike petal electric generator would be a perfect find for recharging weapons, and making life easier.

transportation, electric bike, with an attachment so it can hook up to a small wooden trailer.

Food and water is important. colapsable fishing rod, and hooks galore would be esential. with a piece of twine, a knife and some knowledge you could make a bow capable of killing small game, without wasting zombie slaying ammo.

Maggots would be useful - they only eat dead flesh so even if they did become infected they wouldn’t be a threat to us. Although they wouldn’t be all that fast they could be used for stealth attacks on some of the larger zombie colonies to slowly wipe them out.

Best zombie killer ever

Forgive me for bumping this…

sweet you bumped a 4 month old thread with a video that does not work :stuck_out_tongue:

dammnit let me try again.

working now! yay!

I watched that episode, fucking mental gun that is.

Well, let’s see. I live in a town very near to a military base and I know a number of military boys, so provided some of them survive the initial attack I should be able to get my hands on some heavy duty gear pretty easily. So for me some mil. spec. gear is totally realistic.

Because of this, I vote helicopter. doesn’t need to be anything fancy as long as it has guns mounted on the sides at least. Failing this, I second the Abrams Tank vote. Ain’t no way they can touch me or my crew there, and when we run out of fuel, we still have our hand held weapons. Besides, fast zombies are still slower than vehicles, so there’s a very good chance we could out-run them in a tank. Flying, it goes without saying.

Failing the heavy gear, I’ll take 4 weapons with me. A back-strap sheath for the sword and one for a gun will keep me relatively unencumbered. I can holster my pistol so I only have to carry 1 gun in my hands–

  1. high power/scope rifle for long range

  2. shotty with modified ammo capabilities

  3. Taurus 1911. Enough power to blow heads off, but smooth enough with a small trigger pull/pressure. So beautiful. Like a 4 mm pull distance at 3 lbs. Smooth, and not so much recoil it would decrease your rate of fire.

  4. katana or sword. Bats are unbalanced, and while perhaps lighter in terms of weight the balance becomes an issue if you’re going to swing it all day, or need to change direction of your swings. Good Swords are more well balanced and not as fatiguing to swing, and change of direction is easier. I have a bastard sword in my home, and am getting a quality katana soon, so availability is not an issue.

Body armor—good, 1/4 inch, leather armor will keep bites from hitting tissue, although I’d prefer a light chain shirt on top of it for insurance. Wearing gloves for hand protection and boots.

I plan on scrounging for gear on the corps of guys who starved to death when their tank ran out of fuel and couldn’t get out for the zombies swarming all over it, or who passed out from heat exhaustion because they were wearing leather and chain-mail in the summer time.

How the hell has no-one read/posted this book yet?

A must read…seriously.

I have read it and the sequel. He makes a lot of good points, but in my opinion, his suggestion that the best mode of transportation would be a motorbike or dirtbike is insane. One little piece of debris in the road can cause a rider to lose balance. Imagine all the tree limbs and trash that would litter the roads after the DOT crews stopped cleaning things up, the gear abandoned by fleeing survivors, trashed vehicles, roads slick with the entrails of recently eaten humans. No thanks.

A lifted jeep that runs on propane would be the best mode of transportation. Plenty of room in the back for guns and ammo. Also you can drive over the abandond cars in the middle of the road. You can get racks on top or a off road styly trailor for carrying food or gear.

edit.

When this happens we should all wear out T-Nation shirts. So we know who we can trust. Who wants to get stuck with out of shape peole? I am following CT, CW, Cressey… etc etc

Sawed Off Double Barrel Twelve Guage with an ass load of shells, and a machete for when it gets close, the end!

I would go old fashioned blow them to bits with my SKS. It has a bayonet as well so thats a bonus. Also, I would carry a sword and an axe as well, as backups.

The axe has more utility than the sword, both would be good but the risk of one getting stuck in a zombie when I really really need it to not be stuck in a zombie is too great to not carry both.

Or this AA12 Fully Automatic 12 Guage, would be hard to get your hands on though.

You’d think a pump action or semi-auto be way less cumbersome/slow to reload. Not to mention having like 4x the ammo capacity. Anyway, that would be my choice. :stuck_out_tongue:

…Plus a Para-Ordnance double stack .45 with a bunch of extended magazines loaded with hollow-points.

Poetry.

But really, the AA-12. World’s deadliest shotgun!

Or ANYTHING by MetalStorm!
