Favorite Superhero

Thank you Bujo. Good contribution.

he is mighty

I generally lurk here but I love this thread.

Personally my favorite has always been Vegeta. I started watching DBZ when I was 8, right after Dragonball. That episode took me back to the times of 10 years old when I cried at his suicide… little did I know he would come back.

By the way, they left out when Vegeta KO’s Trunks and Goten, shame.

He knocked out children who are weaker than him. Not really bragging rights.

Distracting Cell so Gohan could use kamehameha wave? Now that’s a good point.

I’d say they would be a lot easier to deal with unconscious though, you see. Trunks might have been a little asshole since his dad was going to blow himself up. I know I would’ve been.

The latter of the two comments, yes, very nice.

Marvel’s equivalent of Batman. Vastly wealthy, top-tier athlete, scientist, detective, and strategist. And he’s knockin’ boots with storm.

Black Panther’s replacement. Boobs makes everything better.

Odd. Danger Girl didn’t even make the list. I know there used to be Danger Girls fans on these boards.

The late Micheal Turner’s legacy. Fathom.

Proof that unter water, ocean based superheroes can be written successfully. Aquaman and Namor, so much potential, so little effort.

If you think Batman has the best rogues gallery, think again. Batman has nothing on the Flash. Flash has had at least ten times the number of villains to face off against. Ranging from laugh-out-loud-comical to downright-creepy-ass-mofo to what-were-they-smoking-and-can-I-get-some-weirdos.

ah, childhood memories…

I love the artwork on this pic.

The style reminds me of Jim Lee, but I know it’s not one of his…

I’m going to have to pick Buffy the Vampire Slayer, She-Ra, and Tigra, in that order.

Buffy, b/c she’s just awesome, She-Ra, because she uses a sword, and Tigra, b/c DUH! She’s a fucking tiger!

Captain Boomerang? A fat talking monkey? Captain Cold? is not better than any batman villain.

All my favorite super-heroes are tatooed on my body, Johnny Storm on my right bicep, Cap’s Shield on left shoulder, quote from Batman going across my chest like a double strand necklace, going next week to get the Punisher emblem from the Thomas Jane movie, the one that bleeds out from the bullet holes in the opening credits, on my back.

My favorite of all time though is the Hulk, but I can’t think of a tactful way to get him on my body. Was thinking of having part of my back/traps tatted as if I’m turning into him, anatomically correct and all, but I’m not sure if I wanna go that far.

When I was a lab assistant back at the human performance lab at my college all me and the grad assistant did was conduct studies and read comics. We decided all exercise scientists are comic book geeks and republicans and this website mostly confirms that.[/quote]

what does the quote from batman say?

Gen 13…big tits and cool humour

Troll, “If you make yourself more than a man, if you devote yourself to an idea and they can’t stop you then you become something else entirely, a legend”

This guy. I’m not religious but I can appreciate a character who steadfastly relies on his beliefs to give him courage and strength, plus his powers are awesome…and he has been a pirate too, he has to get some serious points for that. I’ve got other favourites but they’ve been pretty much covered (Deadpool, Batman and Wolverine).

First of all he’s not a monkey, he’s a Gorilla! Plus there is Shade, Star Sapphire, Ragdoll, Rose Thorn, The Turtle, The Fiddler, Dr Alchemy, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, The Top, Pied Piper, The Trickster, Abra Kadabra, Reverse Flash, Professor Zoom, Golden Glider, Rainbow Raider, Heat Wave, Magenta, Girder, Folded Man, Tar Pit, and on and on and on…

What’s Batman got? Calendar Man? The Calculator? Ooooooooooohhhhhh Scary.

If I remember correctly Micheal Turner came up under Jim Lee and Marc Silvestri in the early '90s right after Image was founded.
