His book “Carnivore Code” shares quite a few. Interesting read
I’d recommend checking out the energy balance podcast, they have a few episodes in series “debunking” hormesis. Don’t remember the exact mechanisms discussed but it was interesting hearing a counter argument to the concept when most people sing its praises. Their website has a reference section where they link research articles discussed in each episode.
I believe Salidino has had both of the hosts on his show at one time or another
I’ll check it out. So far I’m not seeing much objective data to back debunking hormesis, just assumptions discussed assertively.
Does this podcast dig in to science? And out of curiosity was it filmed before or after Saladino quit the diet?
Curious before I spend the time listening.
Agree. Free range whole eggs. A lot of people don’t realize the benefits of the egg yolk, too.Great for T ! I like to vary my protein sources; eggs, beef, chicken breasts, ground turkey, bison, wild caught salmon, tuna, peanut butter, almonds, and protein powder.
These are fat sources and trash ones at that.
We can all stand to be more like Gaston

Love salmon with eggs, bacon, even shrimp
Yes, they reference research in every episode. They get pretty into the weeds as far as mechanisms go, a little organic/biochem knowledge is helpful when listening but they use plenty of analogies to help explain concepts.
Not sure of the timeframe related to Salidino’s changes. I’m fairly certain they draw from the same source material that lead him to his animal based diet vs carnivore. I think their main difference in philosophy from Paul is there’s a few veggies/ways to prepare them that they think are okay and they advocate for a little lower protein
What are your macros ?
Really ? All natural, no sugar, no salt added PB ( like TEDDIE) is trash …… and almonds, too ? !!! Are you afraid of proteins with good fats ? How is your T level ?
I don’t track honestly. Lots of fat and around 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Surge and Mag 10 … at 47 y.o. I’m around 175 to 180 at around 11%
They tend to be a source of aflatoxins, mold, and phytic acids
210 @ 14.2% BF, turned 60 a few days ago. Same as you for protein, 1g per LB BW.
14:10 IF, 30 P / 45 C / 25 F.
Not saying a lot . Just some to slow down the carbs and assist with Vitamin D3 absorption.
I understand: just answering your question. I prefer animal fats.
Nothing beats a medium rare NY strip !
Never have one steak when you can have 3
But one of them IS a New York Strip. Grassfed from piedmontese. And it WAS awesome.
But I will always go for beef ribs when possible. Got a whole rack ready to smoke tomorrow
Solid numbers man!
Beef ribs are phenomenal
They are definitely on my “last meal” list. And fantastic carnivore proof of concept for me. Anytime something comes along “off menu” that I think I want, I ask “would I want this or would I want beef ribs?”
Beef ribs always win
