Just wondering what you guys would use post w/o if you ran out of Surge before your next order arrived. I was thinking I would mix a high GI carb with Grow! and I don’t have any maltodextrin around. What do you guys like to use? I don’t want to go overboard because I am on a cutting phase using a modified T-dawg diet, but I want the post w/o carb effects.
I would say grape juice would be the most convenient source (it’s predominantly dextrose). You can always get maltodextrin from a beer manufacturer, and dextrose is just corn sugar, so it’s pretty easy to come by.
I had used honey just for the hell of it, but grape juice has more nutrients. Thanks eric!
No problem. Just make sure that you’re staying away from fruit juices comprised of predominantly fructose.
