Batman comes in at a close 2nd. I like the idea of regular people taking it upon themselves to be a hero and I don’t enjoy “superheroes” as much.

Lobo. Blew up his home world as a jr.high science project. Still pissed he didn’t get a grade. Bounty hunter. Immortal because he’s been tossed out of Heaven and Hell and told not to come back! Likes to find Superman so he can start a fight! He’s T-Nation material.
My avatar Dogwitch is a tie.

That guy sounds pretty cool. The comic any good/still around?[/quote]
He’s still around riding his space chopper with his bulldog. As for the comic being any good… OH HELL YES!!!
A video with several comic book covers.
The Lobo ParaMilitary Christmas Special

Are my comics any good?

LOL Waylander
And why is this guy not a hero?

so do kids actually read these comics? I don’t really see parents purchasing a comic book when the cover has a crazy man and a bulldog giving the finger.
I guess that’s why until today I have never heard of lobo.

That is an unbelieveable picture.
Whos the artist?
I couldn’t find out who the artist was.
This is a good pic, too.

Wolverine was known to pop Halo like it was m and m’s and wash them down with Tren.

Dr. Robert Bruce Banner / Hulk FTW!
Hell, he almost took over the planet in World War: Hulk. Hulk’s always been my favorite; what can’t sheer strength accomplish? And when he actually has some intelligence? Unstoppable.
I like the Kick-Ass character, too. He was tired of being a bitch so he did something about it. Got smacked pretty bad but didn’t give up.
Comics were before my time I believe…
You actually had to READ these things???

Man, I was really hoping they would make Wolverine R-rated so he could just shred people with blood an guts everywhere.
That has been the most disappointing thing about the x-men movies to me.
I still bought the limited edition replica claws, though.

Because he is known mainly as a villain (super-assassin), with the occasional foray into heroism - usually when he gets bored of killing things…

And the whole “almost killed the Teen Titans in the 80s” and "at the same time, was boning a 16 year old psychotic named Terra [who was all of 16 at the time].

Spawn was great to.

Yep. Those things would tend to tarnish a guy’s reputation
Here’s a pic of Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) without his mask. A man of his age should know better than to play around with teenage girls.
He’s dressed as Batman though, so maybe he’s planning to pin it all on Bruce Wayne. Talking of Bats, Mattel actually released a Deathstroke figure as part of the Dark Knight toy range. Maybe Slade will make an appearance in a future Batman movie…

Speaking of comic book heroes that deserve R-rated movies…
Things might have worked out for Ghost Rider if they had only followed the lead of the original Blademovie: Ghost Rider should’ve been treated as a pure horror movie. Same thing with Spawn. So much potential just frittered away for the sake of making things more ‘audience-friendly’…

I don’t see why not. Parents buy video games that are fairly violent.
This pic is what happened when he was kicked out of Heaven.

I’m going to have to check this one out. It looks pretty badass.
“The Most Fruitfull Yuki” the only Asian and pregnant superhero
As mentioned a few times above, Lobo was great. I just wish he had seriously f*(&ed up Superman in a way that the Kryptonian would remember forever. Like maybe cutting off his hand, leaving the bones of the arm visible.
But even with the writers not allowing that, it was great seeing that dick be totally frustrated coming up against Lobo.
For more minor characters, I liked Doc Samson.
For humorous characters, the best was Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham.

Forbush Man!!!
Dammit, now I have to go read through all those bastards.
