Favorite Comic Book Hero

waylander beat me to it … Colossus

The Punisher, Hulk, Conan, Deadpooh and this new superjedi “Starkiller” from the Force Unleashed comic book, he was clearly modelled after my likeness. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I read alot of comics so it’s next to impossible for me to pick just one… Plenty of good stories out there with even more awesome characters… Those I mentioned however, will most likely always stay with me.

Have to say though that most superhero stuff is way out there… theyre often hard to follow and even harder to feel any connection to.

Batman and Superman for example are so unrealistically lenient towards criminals it just makes me despise their characters.

There is the unkillables factor where these megapowered goody two shoes and lame ass villains beat the living shit out of each others without causing any serious collateral damage or being able to finish the fight.

Even if they die they just get resurrected later because someone figures there is a buck to be made on em, that and the fanboys would start cutting their wrists open should their favourite character buy the farm for good.

Jesus, I could go on for hours about these things and it would amount to nothing. It’s a big universe as far as comics go and there is certainly plenty of something for everyone no matter what their tastes are.

Edit: Could I have some cheese with my whine?

Most of the time.

Almost forgot Joe Dredd. For me the most influential comic book character (and no I don’t mean that I want to shoot jaywalkers in the back… I’d just blow their kneecaps off).

Edit: k… .png’s don’t work.

I was always a big Judge Dredd fan…and 2000 AD in general was great. Nice and dark, some excellent stories. Anyone remember Rogue trooper?

I remember getting “Judgement on Gotham” with both Dredd and the caped crusader. Great artwork, the story was only so so…

Rogue Trooper

Yeah, batman is awesome.

Thats why I like Conan and the Warlord. When nobody has super powers basically the only thing you can do is lop somebodies head off.

I know It would ultimately end up making the story look gay, but I think if I saw High Jackman don the yellow and blue, tears would happen.

Spider Jerusalem of course.

Deathstroke - not strictly a hero, but there you go…

Almost 1st, because she was sweet until you pissed her off, then all hell would break loose.
