Favorite and Least Favorite Comedians

Speaking of Jamie Foxx this has to be the funniest thing I’ve seen in my life. I remember seeing the other comedian on Comic View back in the day, never stood a chance…

Leary is a rip off artist with half the brain of Hicks. If that. There is a famous quote regarding what you’ve just said:

Question: Why is Denis Leary a star while Bill Hicks is unknown? Answer: Because there’s no cure for cancer.

Dead by 32…what a loss.

Never heard of him, decided to check him out because of your recommendation. Excellent stuff. Thanks.

A friend of mine living in California saw his show recently, and said it was hilarious. I’ll probably fly out there and beat him because I’m so jealous.

I’m surprised Cosby hasn’t gotten more love. He was hilarious back in the day and you have to give him credit for crossing over into the mainstream with his TV show.

Favorites
Larry David: He doesn’t do much stand-up, but his sense of humor and attitude matches me pretty much spot-on.
Chris Rock
Jim Carey
Richard Pryor
Bill Cosby
Brian Regan

Don’t like
Gallagher
Carrot Top
Larry The Cable Guy
Jeff Foxworthy

I can’t weigh in on either side of the Dane Cook argument; never heard his act, so I can’t say if I like him or not.

I agree that women comics are overall lame, but Chelsea Handler is pretty good. also Pablo Francisco cracks me up, and Mitch was and will remain my favorite

Ricky Gervais in The Office was great.

Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder was funny (Mr Bean was craptastic)

Richard Pryor in everything he did.

Eddie Murphy back in the day.

Steve Coogan in Alan Partridge.

The Mary Whithouse Experience.

Dave Chappelle. I’ve been in Japan for almost 10 years and had no idea who he was until someone told me to check him out on Youtube. Very funny.

A few of the above might not be too well known outside Britain but they are bloody funny.

That guy from Rush Hour, Chris something. He has managed to confuse loud and annoying with funny.

Rowan Atkinson in Mr Bean. As an Englishman it makes me hang my head in shame.

Favorites: Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Dennis leary, Lewis Black.
Not a favorite but Katt Williams is fuckin funny!

larry the cable guy is not funny to me at all.

Nobody mentioned George Lopez yet?! Man’s hilarious!

Oops I almost forgot to mention that George Lopez is maybe the lamest, most unfunny comedian ever. Him and Carlos Mencia are beyond terrible, I don’t know how they got television shows and professional careers for that matter.

Oh shit I forgot about Richard Jeni (and Kevin Pollack, too). Richard Jeni is one of the funniest stand-up comedians ever.

RIP Rich

These are the worst comedians. Let’s not forget the ever-present ‘fat guy.’ Everyone has their thing, but I can only listen to so many ‘I’m fat/mexican/black/asian/southern/old’ jokes in one sitting.

Dane Cook has become the one man boy-band of comedy. He’s not terrible, and I used to like him, but if I have to hear another 19 year old girl interject that he is ‘SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNNYYYY’ I’m gonna kill the guy myself.
