Favorite Stand-up Comedians?

Of all time or currently…

Here are mine for the time being:

Jon Reep(he’s the “Hemi” guy from the Dodge Ram commercials, hilarious)

Greg Behrendt (Uncool is a great DVD)

Dane Cook (Top of his game right now)

Richard Pryor(Classic)

Bob Saget (dude is filthy)

Kevin James (Hilarious, but clean)

Brian Regan (Cup o’ dirt bit gets me every time)

Mitch Hedberg (RIP, deadpan delivery)

Thoughts? Who makes you laugh?

B.

To add…

Eddie Murphy

Paul Mooney (limited stand-up)

Bill Hicks

Jerry Seinfeld, VERY fast on his feet.

Gallagher

George Carlin

Wanst a fan of Cook until recently. His delivery and voice are great.

Dane Cook
Dave Chapelle

Favourite - Russell Peters. I think he’s hilarious but not as well known.

There were multiple times I almost shit myself during Robin Williams’ stand up.

I always liked Rodney Dangerfield. But he never got the respect he deserved. hehehe

Sam Kinison & George Carlin get an honorable mention as well.

Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World.

Bdfone. Out.

Forgot about him.

The golf routine he did was absolutely hysterical.

Pablo Fransisco
Mitch Hedburg
Dave Chappelle
Eddie Murphy
Richard Pryor

Russell Peters, easily the best:

I’d have to say Jerry Seinfeld is the best I’ve ever seen.

Dave Chapelle is also great, and Tom Papas brought tears to my eyes.

Dane Cook is funny, but is just a tad too arrogant for my taste.

And to be honest, Ellen Degeneres has some really funny stand-up.

Robin Williams. Best comedian that has ever lived. End of discussion.

Some that haven’t been mentioned that are hilarious …

Chris Rock
The Dice Man
Lewis Black
Carlos Mencia

Chapelle can make even the stupidest skit hilarious, delivery is off the charts…that whole sketch about the dude jerking off on a bus had me rolling, and it wasn’t even that funny.

mitch Hedberg…I love that guy…“escalators can never break, they just become stairs…sorry for the convenience.”

Rock yes, Dice not really. Now that I’m older he really isnt that funny anymore.

I’m seeing Mencia soon. Should be a blast.

Robin Williams is great. So is Chris Rock. Woody Allen had some funny stuff.

Rodney was a classic. Saw him live a few times. He was the best.

Kind of liking Ron White these days.

Forogt, Cosby. I grew up on his stand-ups along with Pryors and Murphy’s. I had the chance to see him last summer and it was great. Some may not agree with his stance on things but he is a legend.

Hedberg is the funniest ever. He left way too soon. The guy was a genius.

Showing a little bit of my roots here - Rodney Carrington makes me cry.

Oh…oh…oh…I forgot Carlos Mencia. Funny sumbitch.

I forgot to mention Ron White as well - just went to his concert a month ago.

For female category, my vote goes to Kathy Griffin.

She’s hot too, regardless of the work she had done.

In addition to a lot of the ones mentioned…

Jim Gaffigan (his Hot Pockets bit is amazing)
Ben Bailey (dude had me in tears at the Improv in NYC; he’s the host of Cash Cab)
Jim Norton
Gabriel Iglesias
Frank Caliendo (best Madden impression ever)
