The point is that Fauci continues to lie. Not only about his involvement but, about the facts. Mask/vaccine efficacy, funding of research ( gain of function, Wuhan and others), dismissed the lab leak theory, among many others. The man lied to Congress and yet continues to be seen as a hero.
Well, I think the bigger issue is that he projects 100% scientific confidence making decrees that establish coercive mandates when he didnāt really know to begin with. He also bases at least some of those decrees on polling and political pressure as much as science. Heās so misleading about it that he has seriously damaged the perception of science in the general population.
When he was saying donāt wear masks, he knew they probably helped, but he said it to prevent shortage on the front lines. Thatās a lie.
When he was talking about % of the pop with immunity to get to herd immunity he literally admitted that he was making up the percentage based on policy ramifications and opinion polling of all things. That was a lie.
Lets not even get into gain of function research. All lies. Or at least a combination of lies and incompetence.
I hate all the conspiracy theory nonsense. I now have 2 people I knew dead because of the vaccine nonsense. But it is the people like Fauci repeatedly point blank lying that gives wings to the conspiracies.
This is not new news. The removal of some of the monkeys for research has been controversial for years. The only reason people suddenly care about what is going on on Morgan Island, or with animal testing in general, is politics.Tim Pool wasnāt talking about this before anyone heard of Fauci. Those monkeys have been there since 1979 now we are supposed to care?
I think it has less to do with experiments and more to do with fauci. Thereās a lack of outrage on the left over his blatant, political lies, and thereās an abundance of outrage on the right over every petty thing heās āresponsibleā for.
If it wasnāt so damn political, he wouldāve been replaced because his āscientificā recommendations seem to align too much with public opinion. Like going from āmaybe no holiday gatheringsā to āholiday gatherings are okayā without any scientific backing to justify his change of opinion.
