Wow 6 weeks. thats awsome. I probably could have gone that route but I have sooo much to lose that I figure I will just do a few different 4 week runs through out the year till I hit my goal. Good luck with the transition phase. I’m on the second week today. Going well.
Fatsalad.
I lifted yesterday. I started the Blending Strength and Size 2.0 program. I am also going to go 1 more week on just 1 solid meal aday to make sure my transition goes smooth.
Next week I will go up to 2 meals a day and then stay there for awhile.
Workout was good last night. I like lifting heavy for a change. I supersetted exercises also so it went really fast.
I finished my workout with 30 mins of bike at 130 heart rate. Lots of energy.

Yesterday’s lifting was out of control. I am soooo sore already. I cant wiat for tommorow.
I was on day two of the Blending size and strength 2.0 http://www.T-Nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1807367
I thought it was going to be a nice easy light workout day. WRONG. if done correctly it was one of the most difficult workouts i have ever done. I dont know if it is because the last 6 weeks or so I have been lifting “heavy” but doing 25,20,15 reps was so different.
I love it. its the kind of soreness that lets you know you did something yesterday. LOL.
Diet is still good. Still doing 1 solid a day and the rest shakes. I havent lowered my calories from the end of the V-Diet cause I am still losing.

Yesterday I did 60 mins on the bike at 130 bpm. Its burns quite a bit of calories. and is pretty easy execpt for the fact that after my leg workout on tuesday my legs feel like they weigh 600 lbs.
Also on a side note I weighed myself today and it came back at 244. 2lbs heavier than when I finished the V-Diet. Im a little confused but not stressed cause I feel alot leaner. Dont know what it could be I figured the initial water weight from the transition phase would be gone by now.
Ill keep an eye on it.
Yesterday was a light upper body lifting and today was heavy legs and abs. Very hard workout tonight. My wife really pushed me to do some weight I have never done before.
I am up another pound. Starting to get really confused. If I wanted to gain weight i would have just kept eating crap. My diet is till perfect and cardio is still good.
I cant imagine I am gaining muscle on 2100 calories a day on workout days and 1800 on non workout days. It just doesnt make sense.
Oh well. Maybe im pregnant… lol

Sorry for the delayed posts.
Saturday i just did cardio i walked for 60 mins on the treadmill with my 25lb weighted vest. Good workout I like to mix it up here and there.
Sunday i shoveled my driveway out of 18 inches of snow with my wieghted vest on that was also a good workout out. Got me really sweating.
Diet has been perfect. My weight is still 242 but my waist went down a 1/2 inch so i guess I cant complain.
Today i am goin to start having two solid meals a day along with my shakes. Hopefully the solid meals will break this plateau.

Last night I did my heavy upper body workout followed by 30 mins LI cardio. workout was good and i am still getting stronger.
Today I left the office early and did my “light” lower workout. This kicks my ass. Finished with 30 LI cardio.
I am going out tonight to get a nice steak and veggies and probably a side salad. Eating two meals a day is going well it has only been 2 days but I am never hungry I am always just right.
The Velocity diet definatley helped me crave good foods all over again. last night I have a salad with steak on top and it was soooooo good. I loved it.

What’s your ultimate goal FS? How far do you want to go?

Thats a great question. I guess my first goal is to get healthy so i can be around for my wife and hopefully someday kids. Second I want to see my abs… I know it is a little selfish but i have never seen them and just want to see what going on under all this fat.
Plus I want to put on some muscle but I need to get the fat off first so I can do it without gaining too much fat. My biggest problem right now is that i am starting really to feel small. I dont know how you can feel small at 240 lbs but I do.
I check your log everyday and what is crazy to me is I have 22 lbs to go to get to where you started from. So it has been hard to visualize what I am going to look like when i have soooo much to lose.
So in summary… get healthy and get shredded…
Thanks again for topping by. You da man.

I have the very same goal of wanting to be an active Dad and to live a full life with my wife.
It is the coolest feeling to see the abs that you have always had slowly coming out and hardening up!

I know how you feel and wil say that once you see your real muscular frame, it is kind of an illusion in that your muscle may be smaller in size but their appearance is so much more impressive!(your muscles look bigger and defined)
Thanks for checking out my Physique Clinic! I believe everyone has to see themselves in their leanest, most muscular condition at least once if they have a passion for training. That way, people can compare how they feel at their most defined condition to how they feel now at their bulked up state. I want to see both ends of the extreme… and being shredded is new territory for me.
Great goals and much success to your training program FS!
Thanks again for stopping by. I know it is hard or everyone would be ripped. I was looking at your log and I have to say you definatley dont look 22% bf. I have done testing before on my wife before her show and a few friends and you cant be 22%.
Yesterday was just 60 mins of cardio. I am up to 2 soild meals a day and to be honest it is hard to get them in. I always forget i can have real food and I start to make a shake and then i relize I can eat food.
I have never had that problem before hahaha.

Last night was “light” upper body workout. i almost threw up a few times (serious). It feels good when your done though. did 30 mins of cardio right after.
Finally started to lose wieght again. was 241 on the scale today. The weight loss hasnt really concerned me too much casue im strong in the gym and I am losing fat.
Tonight is heavy legs. i have a cold so im not feeling too well. i can make excuses though. got to do it.
Fatsalad.
Yesertday was Heavy legs and let me tell you it was heavy and hard. I was sick and probably shouldnt have lifted but went cause I dont want to make excuses.
I didnt have a lot of energy so it was hard. I did go up in everything except squat. deads, calf, and hamstrings curls all went up.
Did not want to do cardio but my wife was there and was calling me some very not so nice name to make me di it and im glad i did cause got on the scale this morning and I was 240. im breaking through my plateau.
Going to get some cardio in today and then go work the door at the bar for the St patty’s day parade. Its going to be a mess…
Alright c ya later
Fatsalad
Went for a wlak aroung the neighbrhood this morning with my weighted vest on. ended up being around 50 mins. Diet was good yesterday eventhough I was working the door at the bar and have no time to eat food so I had three shakes while I was working.
There was a huge brawl at about 2 am of course. one guy got pretty messed up outside after we got him out of there. he was a big boy about 300lbs and pissed off. it took three of us to get him to the ground and hen his brother pushing about 275 needed to be taken care of also. oh well I guess thats what happens when the bar opens at 9 am and people sit there and drink the whole night.

Last night was heavy upper body. It was hard. I didnt feel real strong but after looking at the numbers some of my lifts went up again. Just one of those days again where you dont feel like lifting but you are really strong. I get them like once a week.
Diet is good I am still doing 2 solid meals and three shakes a day. It is pretty easy to stick to and have had no cravings since coming off the V-Diet.

Thank you very much. It has been a definate change in lifestyle for me. It is definatley going to pay off in the end both physically and in my looks. Keep in touch

Alright last night was light legs. I had no desire and no energy but I went. It took awhile to get through it and do my cardio but it got done and thats all that is important.
I think the low calories are starting to get to me cause I have been really tired all the time. I’m sure its a combination of the calories, workouts, running a business and working at a bar 2 nights a week.
I dont know what I can do other than just keep grinding. I will probably start taking a day off from cardio here and there. when I feel I am over doing it.
the other thing I was contiplating was throwing in a 3rd solid meal and only have 2 shakes during the day. The only problem I forsee with this is giving myself excuses to have something I shouldnt. The shakes are so clear cut and easy.
Thanks for listening to the rant
