Fatsalad's Velocity Diet

yesterday was cardio. I walked for 60 mins with my weighted vest on. it was good. Today I did my light upper workout. the gym was packed I guess alot of people had today off or just decided to not go. It was too busy for my liking. I had a hard time to doing my supersets but got through ok.

I have a question for everyone. I just picked up another shift at the bar s 3 nights a week I work until at least 3 am. Should I have and extra meal on those days so that I am not losing muscle or is it more important to stick to my calories no matter how long I am up during the day?

I’m no pro - but I would prolly stick to eating every 4 hours. An extra shake?

Try splitting your shakes, that’s what Shugs recommends, and I do it all the time. If I have to split I usually do it with shakes 2 and 4, depending on my schedule. Basically you keep the same amount of calories and macro profile but you just make it into two shakes.

You can either make the shakes in two seperate containers, or make it in one and just drink half of it. I like the latter because after I drink half, I can add as much water as I want to the second half.

Thanks I dont know if I am getting enough sleep but right now it isnt something I can get more of. Too busy. Tommorow is another night at the bar so i might throw an extra shake in since Im up for an extra 5 hours or so that i would normally be asleep.

I tried that but I get soooo hungry around 2am when the bar is just closing and I still have a few hours before I see my bed. I have made a 5 scoop shake and drank half and then drank the other half. I do like doing that s it is alot easier to just chug it and then your done.

Sorry for not posting in a couple of day I went home for easter and didnt really have access to the site other than on my Blackberry and it is hard to to post with that.

Well Saterday before I left for home I went to the gym and did heavy lower and cardio. I am glad I got it in before I left.

The bad news is from 5pm sat to 11pm sun day I ate whatever I wanted. And I mean whatever I wanted. Now normally i would b more upset with myself but I have been 99% perfect for about 8 weeks. I have been stuck at the 240 mark and in some weird way I am hoping this will help me break that.

I got on the scale today and it was 246. obviously some of that is water and glycogen. I am going to up my post lifting cardio to 45 mins this week and I might do two 40 miin sessions on my non lifting days to really kick it up a notch.

I have not lost any strength so far and some of my lifts are still going up. So I have to be happy about that.

Well today is a new start on another 8 week 99% perfect journey. I would like to be down to 225 in the next 8 weeks or so. I will work my hardest and what happens happens.

Nice to see you are getting closer to your goal.

I am also thinking of making the V-Diet, I just have to get all the supps for it so it might take a while.

You should definatley do it. I am going to do it again in end of june early july. Hopefully ill be doing it to get under 10% BF.

Last night was Heavy upper and let me tell you the cheat this weekend made me stronger (serious) every lift went up 10 pounds.

Bench, push press, t-bar row. all went up. it was great. Does it mean im going to cheat every weekend? No. but it makes me feel a little better about doing it.

I upped my cardio after lifting to 45 mins. And today i will do an hour on the bike cause it burns more calories.

Last night I did 60 mins of cardio. I rode the bike to be more specific. It says I burned 425 calories and my heart rate stayed around 130 so I dont see how that is possible but ill keep doing it.

Diet has been good. I have been doing more of a carb cycle diet and just noticed it. I have noticed that on my heavy days i get about 100 grams of carbs. On my light lifting days I get about 65 grams of carbs. and on my cardio days I get about 25-30 grams of carbs.

It seems to be going well. I hope it can get me to where i need to be before I do my second Velocity Diet in july.

Sorry it has been 2 days I didnt even relize. Wendsday was light lower and 45 mins on the bike. and last night before I went to work at the bar I di 60 mins on the bike and I am pleased to say I think the extra cardio is working cause I finally broke the 240 plateau and am down to 238. Also that is after the Easter Binge I went on and gained all of that water and glycogen back.

I will do measurements and pics this sunday. I think it has been 4 weeks since my last batch. It is flying by now and july doesnt really look that far away.

Yesterday was “light upper” and it quick cause I seperset everything and get it done fast. My weights are still increasingor same weight and more reps. Eitherway I feel I am holding on to my muscle for now.

Diet is still perfect everyday. I am supposed to do heavy legs today but they arent recovered yet and I thikit is because the bike riding I have been oing everyday. I am going to do them tommorow. No big deal

Yeaterday was heavy legs and it wasa good workout. I took photos and stats. I will post those later tonight. Weight was down to 237 and I lost quite a few inches.

OK. I am feeling a little better I have a wicked sore throat but I got to get back into this. It has been 7 days and no gym and diet not so good. I have gained 8 lbs this week but I am confident its just water and glycogen (i hope). im gonna hit it hard this week to get back down to where I started before I got sick.

Alright lifted tonight. i was pretty strong but had to rest alot longer between sets than normal. I skipped cardio cause i didnt want to be at the gym for 3 hours without eating.

Gonna try and do morning cardio tommorow. I have three appoinments so it is going to be a busy day and then I have to work at the bar tommorow also. busy day.

yesterday i just did cardio. i switched it up a little and did some HIIT. I warmed up for 5 mins and then did 15 mins to get started. I have a light lower body workout tonight and might do some low intesnity cardio after.

Diet has been good I have been carb cycling and will continue until My next V-Diet in july.
