I am having the worst time with fatigue. If not awakened by an alarm clock (or nagging wife) I will sleep 10-12 hours straight (kinda like being in high school again). I tend to train heavy, but always have. This has just become an issue in the last couple of months and I haven’t made any real changes to my workout routine, or lifestyle. Anyone got any suggestions?
my opinion would be that you doubt yourself too much, I would BET MONEY that if your wife was out of town and the clock was broke and the rent was due by noon and you had to pick up your paycheck by 9am you would wakeup in time. I know it all won’t happen at once but I’m sure under these conditions you KNOW you would wake in time. point being DON’T DOUBT YOURSELF, you CAN wake up after 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,ect…hrs. if you WANT TO AND YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN.
When was the last time you had a weeks rest?
Yeah, go to bed earlier and catch up on your sleep deficit. Go to bed at the same time every night, get up at the same time every morning, and stay away from the bed area during the day (unless you’ve got something else going on there).
Undiagnosed depression induced by a change or inbalance in you body’s brain chemistry? The sleeping/exhaustion may be symptomatic of that.
