Fat Intake Via Oils

I have been trying to get my fats on track. Olive oil, flaxseed oil, etc. I try to get two shakes in at night, one with olive oil and one with flaxseed oil, but with my schedule I can sometimes only get one shake in.

Is it okay for me to mix both servings of oil in the same shake? Or is that bad idea. I’m sure its better to split it up, but which is the lesser of two evils, not getting one of the oils in or combining them?

Try putting one of your oils in a meal during the daytime. If you eat a meat and veggie meal, adding a tablespoon or two of olive oil is perfectly fine.

I do it by taking some Flameout and then eating some walnuts later on in the day.

just pour the oils on the food like a dressing? I’m imagining that not tasting too good.

Actually, extra virgin olive oil has a buttery taste IMO. Throw some sea salt on there and wham. Tasty.

And actually, flaxseed oil has a nutty taste. Pour it over green beans and add salt to taste. It’s really good as a dressing.

If you can stomach it in a shake with protein powder, this shouldn’t be that much of a problem.

I usually add curry or chilli, but then again, I like the taste of olive oil anyway.

is it okay to dump both oils in one shake? and get a lot of fats in that one meal?

It’s better to have your two oils in than missing out on one.

I pour my fish oil, and olive oil in a shot glass… put it on a salad? that would taste amazing.
