FAT! Can't Eat Nuts!

My skinny little friend wants to become huge and i have decided to help him. Unfortunately, this same friend happens to have a BAD case of acid reflux disease. He can never eat anything spicy which isnt a HUGE problem. What IS huge problem though (it would be for me anyway) is that he can’t eat nuts. That means no walnuts, no peanuts, nothing. Failure to avoid such food items would have him hobbled over in pain crying like a little girl.

So what other sources of healthy fats would you guys recommend to someone who is trying to bulk? I’d also be interested in this as nuts is basically my main source of fat in my diet.

HELP!

thanks.

flax oil’s good, oatmeal has some, fish oil, fish, olives, olive oil, avacadoes.
lots of vegan/veggie sites have plenty of info on propper fat intake. (but suprisingly none on proper protein intake, I wonder why?)

Peanut Butter (peanuts may be okay as they are legumes, not nuts), hummous, game meats like buffalo and elk.

Have him see a doctor: there may be help out there for him.

wek, why can’t your friend eat nuts?

Re the acid reflux, pass this on to him. It will give him some relief.

Aloe Vera
An anti-inflammatory, aloe vera juice coats the esophagus. Try half a cup two times a day between meals. Caution: Use products made from pure aloe gel. Avoid those products made with aloe rind or latex, which includes a potent laxative.

Calcium Carbonate
A natural antacid that will ease occasional heartburn (and help meet daily calcium requirements to boot).

Cumin Seeds
An effective and gentle acid neutralizer. Soak 1 ounce of seeds in water, then eat one or two spoonfuls three times a day.

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL)
Thoroughly chew two to four tablets (380 mg DGL) after meals or anytime heartburn strikes. DGL must be chewed and mixed with saliva to be effective.
