I have been dealing with digestion issues for quite sometime, actually fat and protein offer the worst offense. When I eat avocado’s, or flax, or olive oil my stools get puffy and loose. My doctor cant find anything wrong. Do I continue to eat fat despite the bloating? or do I up carbs because I am not digestion fats? I am not a carb tolerant person
stools are not supposed to be packed and log like. It’s very healthy to be spitting out loose fluffly stool, that is how many gastronomists(haha) describe an ideal stool.
besides, if you are getting excessive diarrhea yoou may try increasing fiber intake(vegetables), and spread the fat out a little bit more. i.e. dont’ down 40 grams in one sitting.
More fiber, don’t eat fat alone.
And sometimes your body just has to get used to new things.
Like on the anabolic diet, you eat a ton of fat, some people experience awful stools during the first few weeks but it eventually levels out.
If I were you,I would get some high quality digestive enzymes and take them along with some raw, organic apple cider vinegar(with mother) 15-25 minutes before each meal consisting of both protein and fat.

Agreed. I am quite fond of my fluffy loose stools. I attribute them to a tablespoon of milled flax seed in my protein shake in the morning and handfuls of nuts throughout the day. I’d even say they’re earthy.
So it has nothing to do with a gallbladder issue? Why are log like stools not prefferred ?
What about Steatorrhea ?

Steatorrhea? I had to look that one up. Never having seen your stool, and I hope I never do, I can’t even venture a guess. Only your doctor can say for sure. I suggest you save one and bring it to him/her (hopefully her).
supplement with a pro biotic like what was mentioned in a recent t-mag article. Take a greens plus product. You can also try some enzymes that contain lipase.
I have found that walnuts, almonds, and pecans greatly helped my digestive system. Their fiber does not cause bloating as do inulin fiber products.
I would also take liver support supplements like nac and milk thistle just to make sure the liver is funtioning properly in providing its detoxification process and bile producing process in conjuction to the gall bladder and pancreas.
