Fat Bottom Girls

Yep those goals should be a done deal within 3 months…

My 14 y/o daughter says cake is Dora, Diego and Boots.

and right she is LilP. Cookie-Face has a major crush on Elmo these days. too cute. lol

Congrats on the PR. Little one is adorable!

Awwh!! The nugget is adorable. 290 is in the bag, 305 is right around the corner. Good work!

awww cute kid frenchie! She looks like you (lucky for her)

Congrats on the Deads PR. you’ll be smashing 3 plates real soon.

Every day with a PR is a good day. Add in that adorable face and its a fine one.

Aw such a cutie, like her mom  I remember when a cake like that would lite up my eyes too.

Awesome deadlifting. 300 is indeed almost there.
And cute kid. That’s funny coming from me but after a year teaching kids, I’m starting to think they’re not so bad.

Deads
135 x8
155 x5
185 x3
205 x3
225 x3 - first reps came up so sloooow I knew I was in for a tough workout…
235 x2
245 x2
255 x2 - started grunting loudly and got I little groove back.
265 x2
275 x2
285 x2 - rep PR +1.
290 x1 - was planning to rep but knew it wasn’t happening today. decided to be happy with my first PR and call it a day.

Not bad for a rainy sunday afternoon.[/quote]
Hey Mainy, if you took bigger jumps between sets, you’d be smashing 315 like NOW. Maybe next time, instead of jumping 10#'s each set try 20. Once you got your groove back @ 255, you might have been able to hit 275x2 and 295x2, or if you were feeling feisty hit a 275x1, 300x1, 315x1.

I know you’ve got 315 in you, it’s all in how you approach it.

LWI

I was thinkin that too.

Or just go in and rip it off the floor already!!!

You are my deadlift inspiration. Very impressive!

Nice pulling!
I have a boyfriend for cookie face
(but you knew that)

P.S. Mainy you are going to be such a great role-model and inspiration for your daughter! Strong mama = awesome mama.

New log!!
Sorry I haven’t checked in earlier, I’ve been busy.
Looks like you’ve been doing great though!
Rep PRs on deads and squat- amazingness, and you tell me to stop hogging the PRs…ha!

that is not her daughter, but N is a great role model none the less!

I was starting to think she kidnapped her niece…

Damn find DLing there, Frenchie. So jelly!!

Cookie pie - I could literally eat her up!! SO CUTE!!

Quick lunch time drive by posting before hitting the road again:

Ddot: Thanks for droppin by!

Owlie - 305 has been done, next challenge is 315.

Greg - yes there is a big family ressemblance. She is my bro’s mini-me.

Joe - fine day indeed

MT - I have only one sibling, my brother whom I am very close to. Cookie-face is his daughter, a beautiful little soul.

Cal - haha! looks like we can all change over time, that is a good thing.

Ink - in the past when I made my jumps too high, the weight wouldn’t budge from the floor. You are right though, I am wasting a lot of energy in my ramp up. Next week I’ll do it by 20lbs and let you know how it goes.

MIM - all right, rippin that 315 just for ya beautiful insert big cheesy smile and wink and thanks for clearing up the family relation.

Dani- thank you, but I am still chasing Brute - the true deadlift master round these parts.

Kev- we might need to plan a road trip in say… 16 yrs?

Sol - I just hope she doesn’t want a tatoo at an early age… “Why can’t I have one? You have a massive dragon on your back…” lol. I’ll tell her to wait until she’s 30 like I did.

Blaze - lol! I’ve been inspired

BG - naw, no need for kidnap. My brother and his wife knows how much they mean to me and make plenty of room in their lives for me. In return, I try not to over do it.

Masch - I’m trying not to get hung up on my weight and enjoy the Prs.

Had a wonderful morning at work today - hopefully this good vibe will carry through the week. Planning to bench tonight.

see you all laterz

ya make it sound so easy - lol!

so bench tonight. Wasn’t felling stellar. Did not eat enough today and still sore from the deads on sunday. Really when I am hitting it this hard I need 2 days of rest for full on comeback. However I am going to be busy this upcoming week so insert deal with it.

warm up then…
Bench:
bar x8
95 x5
115 x5
125 x2
135 x2
145 x1
150 x1
140 x1
115 x10
125 x2
135 x2

I would have prefered more reps on the heavy stuff but I am happy that I was able to do 150 on a crap day. It means I am getting stronger. Also I lost my first 5lbs and this clean eating at maintence is probably playing with my strength too. I am ditching the cardio at this point since I only have 3lbs to loose in the next 4 weeks. Just smart eating should be enough at this point.
