knock on wood but with proper warm up and stretching I’ve felt no pain at all, during or after. I’m thinking the forced rest of my cold probably cleared up the last of the issue. Time allowing I’ll try to hit some heavy squats this week, that will be the true test.

Nice session Frenchie!

Christmas bloat is going to produce PR’s all over T-Nation. Can’t wit for yours!

I love the own the weight mentality. I hear you with that. Awesome DL session!

Christmas bloat, ha. I’m already there. Perhaps that’s why I managed to pull 115kg (about 253.5lbs) yesterday.

Very nice lifting, Frenchie - most people would get discouraged after missing a lift but you kept on going. Awesome.

Nice deads, Frenchie!! “Own the weight” love it!

Way to power through. You ain’t nobody’s bitch.

Merry Christmas, martha! (oimean, frenchie)

way to own it. that mental factor is soooooooo huge in deadlifting. atta girl. =+)

Pulling looked good Frenchie. The holiday bloat will mean many pulling PR’s.

Bear -

outline was done in september…

and color in October.

I’ve been greatly inspired by you and Brute and Masch… I’ve been dreaming of getting one done for so long I figured this was the time to do it.

The artists had me pegged for someone who’d run away screaming. My lining session lasted 3.5 hours non-stop, same thing for the coloring.

Sweated like a roast in the oven but managed to work through it. Actually loved the feeling of the lining but HATED the coloring.

go big or go home right?

ok last one…lol

go big or go home… lol.

for the right sort, its a drug. are you planning your next one already? thinking of your skin as a canvas?

I have my shoulders & arms planned already, just hafta wait a few years (damn employment).

you chose yours with an artists eye, thats for sure. Most people go too small for their first, and regret it later.

the work is almost as beautiful as its hostess.

Haha, nlmain running away screaming, obviously not!
Not the samething, I like being tweezed, so I can see why getting the lining would be kind of addictive, they have to be very precise with the needle.

Thanks bear

after I was done with the lining I was so high I would have gone head to toe, but during the coloring I never found my zen space. Hence I might get some more, but it would depend on healing time, budget and such. I want each piece to have meaning to me.

next one I’m daydreaming about is a mermaid - a very fishy beautiful mermaid (not an ariel/humanoid one) with a magnificient tail wrapped around the lower part of my right breast. She’d be swimming head down towards my hip. She would be my feminine aspect, the zen side to my dragon, also related to how I feel when I dive.

the husband was really freaked out by how well I handled the experience so I’m giving him plenty of time to digest the dragon. perhaps summer of 2012 I’ll start on her.

Frenchie, does your husband have any tats?

sweet dragon and love the mermaid idea. can’t wait to see it brought to fruition. =+)

I like the mermaid toooo!!! Purdy! no shame in doing thousands of lil sessions too if its too ouchy. It’ll just mean it heals well and you won’t get gun shy! I think the mermaid’d love her new home too:) right under your boobie!!

3 smallish ones he had done 15 years ago: a maple leaf on one arm, a fleur de lys type creation on the other arm and a scorpion on his upper back. They are all the size of my palm, nothing as big or intricate as my dragon.
