3000km and a trunk full of family heirlooms. I went to visit Git country over the weekend. My Great Aunt lives in Nova Scotia. Now safe and sound back home with the cat in a foul mood for having been left alone for 3 days.lol. Home sweet home. I’ll catch up with every one soon.

Heyyy!! There was a cute frenchie in my stompin’ grounds! I hope you had a good time. Sounds like a whirlwind trip. That is a lot of kms.

Sometimes ya gotta feel the lows so you can really appreciate the highs. If you look back over the past year, you’ve hit quite a few seriously great highs. Let yourself have a rest, and you’ll come back strong, and ready to pour it on again.

Got home from a commute that took 2 hours instead of 1 due to a massive accident on the highway. I was all ready to get in my PJs and grab a beer (it’s dark and rainy and I’ve had a long day…) But I reminded myself that crap winter season is just started and that I may as well grow some balls and hit the gym. And I’m glad I did. It cleaned out a few cobwebs in my head.

happy with my benching despite the fail.

Leg press +90lbs 3x12 - went very light with this to test my hipflexor. It still felt a little off so I left it at that.

Dumbell rows
45lbs 3x8

Crunches on swiss ball with 25lbs plate 3x12 (feet up against the wall)

Left the gym at this point cause I had forgotten to snack which resulted in a headache and a pukey belly. Supper and a well deserved redhead fixed that right up.
