I had to lift in the am today. I’m headed 3 hours north for a game. We’d better win.
I really wanted to get 525x2 but there was no way. I added a 65%x8 and 55%x10 to the deads. Don’t tell Wendler ok. My back was fried after the deads so I had to do ab rolls to loosen it up before I tried GMs .
hey Eco, Have you tried using fat gripz for db shoulder work. I jacked my left shoulder a while back and doing much with it has always hurt and held me back. I got some FG’s, and even though I had to drop the weight, when I did arnold presses today, I had no pain at all and I’m noticing a better range of motion and almost no pain in just everyday movements when I used to have a lot. I know I sound like a paid comercial, but in just the couple of weeks I have used them, they have helped an awful lot.

UN42, you’ve got the perfect look. Bald is beautiful (first hand knowledge). I may have to get a pair of fat gripz. I’ve been using a fat bar hoping it helps. Thanks for the advice. I need all of it I can get.

He skated on the neighbors rink for 1.5 hours then we came home and worked out together. I told him he could workout twice a week during his season. See if he sticks with it.
My son is so hot and cold. Sometimes he’s begging to workout with me and other times he’d rather play video games. I’d like to see him workout a couple times a week. If all goes as planned he’s hitting squats and bench next workout.

Didn’t feel like deloading today. I started the zerchers off the pins at dick level. I nearly passed out trying to zercher 495. Both times it started to come off the pins and my vision blurred and I got light headed. I super setted the front squats and plancs with no to little rest between sets. I cleaned 245 to the top of my chest but couldn’t snap my wrist to rack it. Next time.

My son is the same way. I just go with the flow…ain’t gonna make him do it.
