Fast Food for Mass

My favorite quote-from myself, in response to eating and living like a bodybuilder-

“I may die young, but at least I won’t fit in the oven when they try to cremate my ass.”

yeah that doesn’t sound too bright. you can drink all the milk you want, but I doubt milk will provide the calcium necessary to cause kidney stones. Also, it’s not just calcium consumption, there needs to be a problem processing it, so…yeah, he’s pretty much an idiot for saying that

I’ve been guilty of saying stuff like that. In the future I plan to keep my mouth shut on most matters and only talk in cases where I have experience. What I’m most guilty of is parroting what I read in articles. However, what I’m starting to realize is that unless you’ve experienced it then you don’t really know it.

ive heard on this site…or maybe it was my AD book? that CHL doesnt even matter unless youre fat in the first place. so im really not all that concerned with it. theres so many things people are overly worried and concerned with when theres constant scientific debate about it. theres people who say too much protein will cause kidney failure…and some jackass even told me that all the milk i drink is going to cause kidney stones…while he sips a mountain dew…ok. im just going to keep doing what produces results, id rather die of a heart attack weighing 210lbs of muscle then weighing 210lbs of fat.
i think all this research is bullshit, you never know who has their hand in the pot to fund it anyway. so just live your life and do what makes sense to you.

Almost glad someone else at least considers that what everyone “knows” about cholesterol could be utter bs. A long time ago I posted a similar link, for all the content to be ignored in favor of calling the author a “quack”, or somesuch.

You’ll find those who will tell you to avoid cholesterol are the same ones who say to avoid fat, avoid cards, do lots of cardio, do situps to lose stomach fat, and do high reps to “tone”.

also never use a weight above 3lbs, so you work your smaller stabilizer muscles and they will “pull in” your larger muscle groups and make you go down a size.

Everything in moderation, however. Too much cholesterol and general fat over a short amount of time or on a regular basis isn’t good. Sure, doctors may be right or wrong, but the fact remains that too much fat isn’t good for the blood or for the heart. Additionally, there’s 1800mg of sodium in one burger. These amounts of nutrients in one meal eaten regularly (or excessively) are in no way good for your overall health, either short- or long-term.

SChultzie that only works in your pinky is turned Northwest to the equator.

Stop parroting the articles dumbshit.

wow machines arent supposed to be harder lol. the dead-squat…what an evil fuck.

yea i was being sarcastic.

My college phys. ed. coach told us that one big mac has as much salt as 50 quarter bags of lay’s potatoe chips. Is this the kind of stuff you really want in your body ?

Ay yes, because coaches and teachers are notorious for knowing what their talking about.

Read some of Scott Abel’s stuff about sodium, as well as others.

Its really not to be feared unless you have pre-existing or are likely to get high blood pressure.

exactly. surprisingly, my college nutrition prof informed me of this.

Here you go…lol.

This book is actually pretty good for certain places. Its not a diet manual by any means but it does help when you go out to eat with friends. You’d be surprised how many seemingly “healthy” items on the menu are actually the worst things to eat.

that book is a gimmick and a joke IMO.

it’s like saying, don’t eat this pile of shit, eat this pile of crap.

most of the people that would buy that book would do best by staying away from the majority of the places in the book.

Its not meant to be taken as a “Diet Plan.” Zinzencko is the same guy who wrote the “Abs Diet” for Mens Health so i doubt he’d turn around and make a book promoting a fast food diet.

Its just kind of a cool book that breaks down foods that some of us, who are on the go constantly, tend to get trapped eating. It helps on the days when you forget to pack snacks or a lunch, or when you have SOCIAL obligations and have to eat out.

But yes, if you were to use this book strictly as a means to dictate your 6 meals…uhhh yeah…not a good idea.

This is somewhat paradoxical to me. You tell him to ignore coaches and teachers and instead to listen to somebody who (as far as I can tell) has zero scientific background and writes articles for an online magazine which contain zero scientific references to the claims he makes.

As far as I can tell from his website he graduated from university with a degree in sociology.

Probably not since Chris “Ox” Mason contributes to EFS.
