LiftingStrumpet: Your very welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Notes: Im sure this happens to other people, almost everyday I have a song stuck in my head and today it was the song "Hooked on a feelin’ " by Blue swede and have been singing it out loud all day…hahahaha Im sure my neighbors think Im crazy but dont really care!
Also I had a very introspective few minutes while shadow boxing. I always perform my shadow boxing in front of a mirror treating my reflection as my opponent looking my self in the eyes giving the “stare of death”. Well as I started my ipod played Demons by Imagine Dragons and the lyrics “don’t look into my eyes thats where my demons hide” struck a cord with me. We are our own worst enemy, the fiercest demon we face and most detrimentally immovable object in our lives. All this was running through my head as I was shadow boxing and suddenly I WAS boxing myself, and on the resting intervals I felt like a caged tiger just pacing in front of myself waiting for the timer to go off and the “cage door” to open so I could continue my war with my greatest enemy. I must say that was my MOST intense shadow boxing training in awhile.
1st time in here . Great work.!
Very intrigued at the creativity and numbers goin on here !!!
I’ll be checking in.

Barbedwired: Thanks for stopping in dude! Also, you’ve got pretty darn good log goin’ your self man!
notes: Well after am squat session me and 600lbs had a little “sit down” here are the minutes…
Me: Hey dude I just wanted to give you heads up in 15 weeks I’m gonna be squatting with you for 2x3.
600lbs: HAHAHAHA! Good luck, on your way to walk up to the bar just look at the strewn bodies of Lifters that tried before you!
Remember when my brother 345lb crippled your back! Hahaha and then you were relegated to squatting with the baby 100lbs?
Me: Yeah, but I healed and took a page out of Ali’s book " I did something new for this fight, been training differently.I’m gonna show how great I am! I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick; I’m so mean I make medicine sick. I’m gonna show you how great I am" .
And well 600lbs you want me to look at the bodies you have strewn, look at the bodies I’ve strewn! From 100 to 550lbs, all their bodies lay on the path behind me and I’m coming for You may 28th! I will stand before you as David stood before Goliath! As Elijah stood on mount Carmel!
600lbs: Bring your best I await, ever cold and immovable, ready to crush flesh and bone, to rend sinew and overload your cns!..
Ahaahaha rant over lol

- On the belt, I used my regular leather pants belt cinched tight, it helped tremendously with maintaining abdominal pressure! I have to confess I was given a 50 dollar gift card for christmas and could have bought a proper lifting belt but…I needed to buy books for school.

Priorities!
I didn’t start using a belt until a few months ago, when I saved enough money that I didn’t feel guilty about buying one.
Whatcha in school for?

- I thought I got a vid of the set with 50lbs but in didn’t record.
Seachel! Howdy chica thanks for stopping in! I’m not in school at the moment getting ready for the Fall semester if all goes well but am getting a head start on books they are so friggin expensive.I’ll be studying to get my degree in veterinary science for large animals. I’ve gained alot of practical experience treating our animals on the farm I just need the “book smarts”.
I love that wheelbarrow press vid! Cool stuff!
I’m curious: obviously loading a wheelbarrow is a little different than a barbell because of the distribution of weight and the plane of motion you move through…do you feel that press roughly mimics an incline bench? That’s about what it looks like to me…whatever it does, good work man!

Notes: My left hip is acting up, when move my leg up or down I can hear and feel clacking and clicking. And when Lay flat on my back and move it in circular motions man it hurts like like a motherf*cker, I almost want to say its not in the joint properly, and its affecting my low back a little bit, so tomarrow am planning on “babying” it as much as possible.
ActivitiesGuy: Dude thanks for stopping in! Yeah I feel it mimics an incline press to a degree, I dont know if you can see in the vid Im able to use a false grip safely without having to worry about the bar slipping out and I really dont tax my stabilizers. Also I really never feel my pecs with it, but it fries my tri’s and delt’s.

I was short on time and feeling pretty fatigued today so just decided to call it a day and rest for tomorrows squats. Also part of my work day consisted of filling and carrying 15 gallon pots of dirt about 20 feet load them in the truck then unload them at distance of about another 20 feet, granted they probably only weighed about 80lbs plus or minus but had to do that with a couple dozen, I guess Im crazy 'cause I thought it was loads of fun! And that gave me an idea, it simulated a light keg carry so if I took one of said pots and filled it with rocks Id have a keg like implement of decent weight to play with!

I love the fact that your leg press is habitually over a half a tonne, never mind for 100 reps. Damn you’re strong.
