Family Guy

-that is the smartest thing i’ve ever heard anyone say about anything.

-now it’s time for me to perform my fatherly duty. hehe, i just said doodie. BUT NO TIME TO LAUGH ABOUT IT NOW!

can anybody guess what this scene is? -giggily giggily giggily giggily giggily giggily giggily. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!!

Quagmire quote:
They’re at a police auction:
Policeman: “Now, this pair of prostitute’s panties.”
Quagmire: “50 dollars”
Policeman: “But she had 9 STDs.”
Quagmire: “Uh, 45 dollars.”
Policeman: “And she peed on them.”
Quagmire: “50 dollars.”

Chris quote:
“Ah, we’re in a physics lab. I guess that explains all the gravity in here.”

Peter quote, after meeting Dick Army.
“Haha, so what’s your wife’s name? Vagina Coastguard?”

That show is frigging awesome, its so incredibly random. Like the episode on last week, chris goes to get milk in the supermarket when a hand leads him into a black and white 80’s music video for take on me, lol wth its awesome.

silly? yes. idiotic? yes.

This was one of the first really famous rock videos, by the band “Aha”. They had a few hits, “Take on Me”, “The Sun Always Shines on TV”, and they were so big at the time that they did the theme song for the James Bond 007 movie “The Living Daylights”.

As a TV fan, this is my favourite scene ever on Family Guy:

Peter: ?Everybody, I?ve got some bad news. We?ve been cancelled.?

Lois: ?Oh no, Peter, How can they do that?

Peter: ?Well unfortunately, Lois, there?s just no room on the schedule. We?ve just got to accept the fact that Fox has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80?s Show, Wonderfalls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, Girls Club, Cracking Up, The Pits, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda at Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, and Greg the Bunny.?

Lois: ?Is there no hope??

Peter: ?Well, I suppose if all those shows go down the tube we might have a shot.?

smoke!

Ya smokin’ yet?!

Doctor: ?Well, Rudolph, we finally figured out what makes your nose red.?
Rudolph: ?Is it Pixie Dust? Or, or Leprechaun tails??
Doctor: ?No, it?s a tumor.?
Rudolph: ?You mean, like a magical Christmas tumor??
Doctor: ?No, a malignant tumor. The base of which is lodged deep within your brain.?
Rudolph: ?Oh. . . . Like a happy, special…?
Doctor: ?You?re going to die.?

That Rudolph scene slays me.

But the all-time funniest short scene has to be Peter trying to breastfeed Stewie. The gradual dawn of comprehension on Stewie’s face had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe.

It’s an A-ha video. My wife loved that episode (she’s a big 80’s fan). I love the show as well. I thought I grew up on a lot of tv, that guy has a lot of issues.

I never got into it. I don’t see how people can compare it to the Simpsons in terms of jokes or entertainment. It’s similiar in that it’s an animated show about a family and weird stuff happens. Speaking of shows people don’t get. Does anyone watch Cheap Seats? I doubt it will be around long and I wonder if it’s because people don’t get it. I think the target audience of sports fans who liked MST3K would be a little limited. None the less, I think it’s hilarious.

I’ve said it before, but Kiss Saves Santa is the greatest x-mas special EVER.

AHH! AHHH! AAAAAHHHH! DAMN IT TO PUS-SPEWING BLOOD-GUTTED HELL!

My personal favorite quote is…

Random guy at pool: Sir, you can’t park your van on the diving board.

Peter: That’s my son!

Random guy at pool:(talking to friends) Hey, it’s just a fat kid. (talking to Chris) Hey, want a candy bar you fatty fat fat![/quote]

Which was topped off by Peter putting the club on Chris…that scene was priceless. Also the one earlier in the episode where he was in the supermarket and they thought he was sumggling hams. “I need an adult”

Honeslty I don’t really like the Simpsons anymore. Sure, the episodes still have funny parts but their plots are seriously lacking.

Gene Simmons: Someone stole Santa? That does not rock!!

we’re playing five big shows in five big days so–

ROCK AND ROLL!!

why dont…why dont you just sit in the corner?

Agreed. A friend of mine and I were watching some new Simpsons episodes before Family Guy came on. Now I used to be a HUGE Simpsons fan. Some of the episodes (like the one where they go to New York) are right up there with Family Guy.
But, I tell you, these latest episodes are PAINFUL to watch. Watching now is like slowing down to look at a traffic accident.
