I just started watching “The Family Guy”! (So sue me!)
I’m intrigued by the baby, Stewie (He’d probably call me a bitch for calling him a baby!)
So is his thing:
He hates his mother?
He wants to take over the World and
Everyone in the World and around him are idiots?
(He sure does have a patient Mom!)

Stewie is the shit. No one in the family can understand what he says but the dog. Everyone else on the planet seems to understand him just fine.

Family guy is funny, but I’m not sure you can call it great. The writing is mediocre at best, and the only reason it’s funny is because of the randomness/absurdity/crudeness. Someone else said they get tired of it after a few weeks, I feel the same way. Also, after the first 2 seasons Stewie was no longer an evil genius with an unlimited arsenal, toned down his accent and got ALOT gayer. funny show but way overrated.

Totally agree on everything you said. Stewie was like a baby version of Brain from Pinky and the brain. Now he’s a future Clay Aiken.
It’s actually a lot funnier if you live in, or are at least from, RI or New England. Seth McFarlane is from CT and went to RISD (RI School of Design) so there’s a lot of local humor in the show most people from other areas of the country wouldn’t necessarily get.
