it was like 2 episodes ago I think. absolutely hilarious

Shave a mans back, and he’ll purr like a Walrus.

Anyone remember this?

No other show has done humor like that. I’d love to see any other comedy show TRY to do bits similar to the ones with Stewie and Brian, espeically the ones that last 1 or 2 minutes. I’ve never seen any other show come close to that.

It’s actually “coin-purse”. Funny show, but still overrated.

Wow!

I thought there may be a few fans here!

I have a tendency to study things when I get interested in them. It seems that the writers/creator of “The Family Guy” have played around with Stewie’s sexuality, and decided that for more writing and creative flexibility to keep it ambiguous. (A few of you guys have indicated that very thing).

Since I’m new to the cartoon, I tend to see episodes that go between a lot of years, and even I’ve seen them toy with where exactly they want to take the Little Guy.

And as someone said, there are some things that can make you “cringe” sometimes (I’ve seen them “push the edge”). But overall, its pretty funny and satirical.

(I’m surprised jsbrook? hasn’t posted here. Doesn’t he have Stewie as as Avatar?)

Had a busy day. I fucking love Family guy. I do agree with the people that set it veered off track for awhile. But I think it’s back. The randomness is its genius. I think a lot of people miss the subtleties of it and don’t appreciate it as much as it deserves.

It’s one of the few shows where I am pretty much guaranteed to laugh out loud at least once every episode.

In fact, I’ve seen every episode so many times it is almost like Loony Tunes to me (which was also pretty damn random in its time).
That’s the other great thing. Anytime you have a minute of free time, there’s bound to be a rerun on SOME station.

Just to put this out there…

http://www.hulu.com is the shit.

Just felt like sharing:

“Cold in here?”

“Nope, just really small.”

Stewie’s gayness was never on display more than in the episode with Brian’s son. There was no ambiguity involved whatsoever.

Stewie is the shit. No one in the family can understand what he says but the dog. Everyone else on the planet seems to understand him just fine.
That’s certainly true for earlier seasons. In Season 4 Episode 27, Stewie participated in a family argument about The Godfather. The whole family understood him.

And yeah, Stewie is the shit.

IMO, Stewie was gayest when he answered Chris’ blind date ad on Long John Peter.

Yeah, but that conversation about The Godfather was done out of character by the whole family…something they’ve done before, like when Peter fell down the stairs during their intro and fell on one of the women dancers.

They can understand him just fine when they are “out of character”.

Peter is my hero.

If you like FG you should check out The Venture Bros.

Lando Griffin
