I’ll be frank man. You have WAY more faith in these republicans’ devout Christianity than they have faith in Christ lol. Very, very few Christians are anywhere close to as “Christian” as they appear. This goes triple for politicians. They wouldn’t turn anything into a theocracy even if they could.
I don’t know about that, certainly some of them would like Rick Santorum when he tried to sneak that intelligent design bill into a defense spending bill. What a complete sack of shit. Even if he wasn’t the nominee he still represents a very powerful wing of the Republican party that has considerable influence over the country.

I do get what you’re saying, but I just don’t see it. If zealous Christians actually held considerable influence in this country I think things would look very different lol. Religion has been slipping for some time now. I mean the kind of shit that flies by these days without anyone batting an eyelash is quite different from just a few years ago and in the opposite direction of the way things would be heading if Christians really held all the sway you say they do.
How did we get here?
Better than being an impotent Nascar dad with nothing to show for all his years but a spotted liver and a beer gut.

Nobody else wanted to talk about the universe :-/
Off Topic…
Speaking as an individual that became politically aware during the Carter/Reagan period and proudly served in the military during the Reagan years; I want the right to run a businessman. Not an investor, consultant, or banker, but someone that has actually spent years managing an operation that produced and sold a tangible product.
When I was a young man the left was the party trapped by their ideology, today the right is no better.

Why is it even culturally still accepted for someone to relate skin color directly to a negative act?
Because the law says to?
Really?
The law is saying that my skin color makes me more prone to crime?
Black = crime?
Nope. But the law goes off statistics and those statistics point to blacks. Hispanics too and white trash.

“white trash” is a race?
Numbers usually never lie, but when dealing with who is in prison there are so many other variables at play.
ie. how expensive of an attorney can someone afford.
more money spent = better legal services rendered
better legal services rendered = not getting fucked over by legal system

uh huh.
Poor white people dont have these problems? There are more black people without the means to fund legal aid because a lot of them are poor.
