Experiences with Varicocele Surgery?

Hi all.
I was wondering if anybody here has experience with Varicoceles.
I have been diagnosed with a ‘Grade III - Severe’ one to the left side.
Will be having surgery in 4-5 weeks to tie them off.
This has all followed from investigation on why my total and free T are low / borderline low.

The surgeon mentioned the less invasive approach of inserting a coil wouldn’t be as effective with how big they currently are.

Any experiences shared would be most welcome.
